I'm almost 100% sure it will have happy ending (after quick checking up the novel) but I fully understand you. v--v Sad endings are no fun if you aren't ready for tragedy, broken heart and nightmares. But to end up with sad ending without showing any signs you must really don't give a fuvk (shout-out to MODC producers, they're really another kind of people :)

The scene when Sarawat says that Green can't compete with his love to Tine - confident gays is what we want, what we love and what we need.
Because of unofficial trailer I thought Sarawat will be total tsundere and relationships will be cared by Tine, but it looks like I was wrong. And I'm glad I was wrong. "Are you blushing or are you attracted to me?" I think I'm just dying because of your big d energy, but what can I know?
Yeah, I probably won't survive their kisses, not even thinking about more serious things, I need to start writing my own will. Family can't know what I was watching while sitting in my room. v-v

I'm literally crying right now. I said that I don't want season 2, but feeling all these emotions once again... sign me up. <3 I believe in Chai Jidan's work and that 2nd season will be as good as 1st.

I hope it's true, rumours about 2nd season are coming all the time, but there's still nothing :,(

China's government loves censorship, so they banned Addicted because "no television drama shall show abnormal sexual relationships and behaviours, such as incest, same-sex relationships, sexual perversion, sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual violence, and so on". That's why most of Chinese BLs dramas are not really BL, but bromance. The problem with Addicted was not only that it showed gay relationship, but it was also about Chinese army and privilege of some social groups. They didn't really show this in drama, because it would be a suicidal move, but it's a big part of the book. If you can't find your place in the world right now, I recommend reading the novel (if you didn't read it already) BUT!! It's much, much more fucked up than drama so if you thought their relationship in drama was too abusive - don't read it. And if you're really sensitive - think twice about it. It sounds dark, because it is, but it's also a beautiful story, that will make you mad, sad, happy and absolutely crazy. And it's better to read it from the start, because a few things are different and can make no sense if you would start from where drama ended. ^^

4 years later - the chemistry between actors is still blowing my mind
The scene when Bai Luo Yin for the first time openly showing affection when Gu Hai is sleeping - absolutely amazing. When Gu Hai wakes up and kisses Yin back - I have a goosebumps. I'm always thinking; shit. This is love bro. Also the song... it's too perfect.
I love this series so I'm sad that it ended how it ended, but from the other side; maybe it's better? People had problems with consent from the very begging and it wasn't even the real, dark shit they did and that happened to them. But they were both broken, both stupid, impulsive. They were lying, hurting, running away but still - they were caring for eachother. They loved themselves, even if their love was hard and toxic, but at the end; they healed. They grew up, people around them also grew up and stopped trying to fuck everything up. Life isn't only black and white, it isn't also easy so there can't be only fluffy love stories between cute soft boys, because parents won't always understand and accept you, you're not always can have a good, easy and calm life. There is a lot of shit in this world and if the only thing you can is screaming that this series romanticise everything that's bad - then yeah. You really shouldn't watch this and definitely, definitely not reading the book.

Edit: Okay, nobody can't beat Timmy and Johnny, not even be close to what they did to me, my standards and my heart and that's a fact BUT... I mean... after all... I'm nasty bitvh. The more good BL - the better and after long reflection: Chai Jidan + Addicted boys + no censorship + Taiwanese style = NSFW all the way. And I'm scared. Partly because I don't want to be disappointed (that would kill me) and partly because with Taiwanese "WE DON'T CARE" this can end up even more hated by people who can't tell difference between fiction and reality and want to cancel everything. ;/ Jesus, save us from them, amen.

I really can't even think about this series anymore. :,) Yesterday I was going home, really tired and sleepy, and Yu Xi Gu's face appeared in my imagination - I immediately started to crying IN THE TRAIN FULL OF PEOPLE. It was so hard to hide the fact I'm emotionally broken. Thank you, MODC's producers - you really did it. You made one of the most tragic tragedies. :)

If you understand Thai and like to know actors' thoughts it's cool I guess, but if you're waiting for real show you must wait utill 24. : (

Also I hope that Tine will actually give Green reasons to like him, not as he fell in him, even if he did absolutely nothing to make Green so interested. Or even make them childhood friends or neighbours so Green could know that Tine can't get a girlfriend because c'mon: you can lie to yourself, you can lie to your parents, you can even lie to God, but you can lie to gay-radar.
I don't know the book so I hope they just won't make it second Love Sick, where it is "we're pretending because we dumb, not because we have to" v-v
