Coffee and Vanilla was cute but FL's character was so frustrating to watch and the plot was def flawed at one point. LOL same I literally straightened my back when I saw him sitting

I mean its 7 eps and each ep is 30 mins compared to the average 10 eps with each ep being 1 hr long. I'm on ep 2 and honestly this drama is far better than a lot of the j dramas I've watched with draggy/illogical misunderstandings. Everything is straight to the point and both characters are mad bold with their feelings. I agree that the whole "I love you" was way too fast I was expecting that to be revealed in ep 4 or smt. I think she moved on quickly because she couldn't stand moping around the idea of being cheated on by her 5 yr long ex. As for Miura, he probably crushed on her way beforehand and that's why he agreed on marrying her idk tho. I would stick around a few eps to see what will happen and if they will expand on that!

I honestly think its the ML's problem LMFAO he can't kiss if FL had a different partner the kiss scene might have went differently. But still this plot is far better than Perfect and Casual I would keep watching If I were you

You are my Destiny was good ngl but there were too many misunderstandings for me to actually enjoy it (esp towards the end) It was almost illogical at one point. But we can't deny the fact that they have amazing chemistry that was what tied the drama together

i've already watched generals lady LMAO the beginning was good but then it got boring idk nothing stands out from this drama anymore. If you want high quality kiss scenes with a good plot: Le Coup de Foudre (my absolute fav) + Love is Sweet + Zhao Yao (though ending was shit)

Y'all don't get me wrong ik everyone had expectations for the kiss/bed scenes and even though it turned out tragic LMAO it was so awks lets just appreciate the fact that FL didn't play 'dead fish' like the way most c actresses do in kiss scenes

Honestly if you've been aware of the c dramas that have been aired lately (apart from Love is Sweet) this drama is so well produced. The characters are nicely written and finally we have a FL with actual brain cells. If I were you I would keep watching because ep 25 and onwards was very addicting. I won't spoil anything but you should watch! I'm enjoying it a lot even while cramming for exams LMAO

PROS and CONS of this drama:
- I really wished they focused on Kahoko's journey on becoming financially independent. It was touching to see how hard she worked when handing out those tissue samples and I was hoping the drama would have continued in that direction.
- Kahoko continues to acknowledge that she is overprotected yet does almost nothing about it. When she does chose to change her habits, she falls back to being dependent because of family issues
- Bruh poor Hajime. I'm not saying it was wrong for Kahoko to prioritize her family issues before her relationship, but I felt like she was very inconsiderate and neglectful of Hajime's feelings. But again, this a j drama and I shouldn't expect much (j drama plots are always dramatic and flawed)
- There was not one single kiss scene LMAO wtf
- Hajime's all black jogger fit was so tragic idk why the stylists did him dirty like that for all 10 eps
Pros:
- Honestly I did learn a lot. I reflected on myself and my current situation. I was never THAT overprotected by my parents like Kahoko was. But I do feel like, given my current age, that I am indeed dependent on my parents on a lot of things.
- Family. It was nice seeing someone like Kahoko caring for her family. With her character we saw how a lot of issues are just not possible to solve on your own. This drama definitely shed importance on family and it was heart warming.

Overall. This drama was a 6.5/10 for me, maybe a 7 because of Grandpa's personality glow up. Kahoko's character was poorly written and it was very frustrating to watch. I would have preferred if there was no romance in this drama because its obvious that Hajime sees Kahoko as a motherly figure and that's why it was awks. But honestly I really did learn a lot from this drama. If any of you guys have family hardships, watching this drama may be healing (esp towards the end).

This was so fast paced and It’s only ep 1 but why was that so good LMAO ML such a tease reminds me of Usui ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

If they aren't releasing a season 2 I'll make my own season 2 LMAO I watched this drama twice already and I normally never rewatch dramas its just that good. It's been a long time since a c drama has actually given me the creeps you kinda get that eerie and unsettling feeling but its actually so addicting. and THANK THE MF LORD for a smart ML AND SML wtf I'm in heaven the chinese plot writers are actually giving their characters braincells

This was a solid 7/10 ngl. This had so much potential especially given the OCN production quality. So far only ep 10 drawn me in and it was the last ep LOL. The ending was eh (maybe a Season 2 will be released to further expand on it) I know this is too much to ask but I really wished they developed FL and ML's relationship (or perhaps hinted at another romantic relationship) just because they teased us so much during that karaoke scene LOL. The drama overall had alot of plot holes and even towards the end I had so many questions. If you're bored and aren't cramming for exams then watch it

I would say continue watching FL’s acting is not like Esther Yu’s real life personality at all I’m just saying her aura is like hers. It’s actually quite hard to achieve this. Acting classy does not always= looking classy. And FL portrays it so naturally you kinda get drawn into the drama

FL kinda gives me Esther Yu vibes I don’t think Bai lu is suitable for this kind of role. Sure she had a strong character in Love is Sweet but she doesn’t have that rich/classy aura to her
