Apart from the 'sexual harassment' controversy and the fact that people don't normally watch dramas via cable,…
BOF killed me omg I really rated it a 3/10 ty. Everything was just too much and there we even saw Lee Min Ho stans romanticize his actions bleh. Also to add on correct me if I’m wrong I’m pretty sure a lot of the comments regarding the “sexual harassment” controversy of this drama came from those thinking that because it was Moon Young, a GIRL that wanted to touch his abs it’s deemed shameless and disgusting. But bruh we see guys in a lot of dramas touch a girls waist and like you had mentioned kiss them without consent. Sigh. LOL also I see Xukai in your dp I see your a man of culture hehe
Actually was not expecting much from this drama and had only started watching cause of Xukai (ugh loved him in The Legends and Arsenal military) but I have to say I’m actually really impressed. Usually Chinese historical dramas like to drag the plot out or have a ton of unnecessary fillers but everything is going smoothly so far. I just wished that the FL was scripted better: less naive and have a little bit more common sense. How is she still so nice to Pian Ran bruh. The CGI in the beginning was pretty bad but it got better after a few eps! The OST is my fav and It fits the drama well. This drama might be a little cliche but i find it funny and really enjoyable so far :3
Is this getting bad ratings? I read somewhere that was the case and I'm sad...
Apart from the 'sexual harassment' controversy and the fact that people don't normally watch dramas via cable, alot of the low ratings is due with the fact that this drama isn't one's typical k fluffy romance drama to which is usually favorable to the mass k audience. Rather this drama touches on deeper issues like mental illness/disorder and we ALL know (especially if you are into kpop) that Koreans, at a societal level are ignorant to mental health and are rather unfamiliar with the issues that could arise from it (take Moon Young's Antisocial personality disorder for ex). Speaking about MY's disorder, the only reason why there was EVEN a sexual harassment controversy is all due to knetizens' ignorance. Because if they were aware or have been educated on what this disorder even is, her actions/behaviour in the drama would all make sense to them. Moon Young, as Kang Tae says is "different" from others. The plot synopsis even states her disorder and yet knets seem to not care and are STILL ignorant till this day. LMAO im annoyed bruv
Nothing too special. There is equally as much controversy surrounding this drama as Psycho regarding sexual harassment…
Oh wow thank you. If they really are going to split each episode and add in unnecessary advertisements I think Psycho might do worse than it was originally doing and this drama might just end up as the next "The King" which was utterly disappointing to say the least. Apart from Crash landing on You, Psycho might be the best kdrama of 2020 and I just simply do not understand why its doing so bad in Korea? I don't even think its because of the 'sexual harassment' Is it because it touches on mental health issues rather than being the typical fluffy romantic drama? I really hope TVN won't change anything and rather focus on how the past few eps were even worldwide trending on Twitter and Naver.
Does anyone know how the Korean netizens are reacting to this drama so far? I honestly don't think this drama deserves higher ratings than "Its Okay to Not be Okay" but that's just my opinion. I think this is the first time where more criticism is given to the actual plot than to the controversies LOL
After watching ep 6 and the preview for ep 7 I just can’t help but wonder why Kang Tae and Moon Young both miss their mothers when they are literally the ones who had fed them their emotional trauma?? Their so called “mothers,” having instead given them warmth, had given them a childhood filled with pain and suffering. I would rather see Kang Tae and Moon young show anger and hatred for their mothers. Instead we see them miserable and in their most vulnerable state. It’s so heart wrenching.
rumors... it didn't even trend. Said "reporter" even has a YouTube channel that does nothing but dish out celebrity…
But It seems that both of them had already signed with the cousins entertainment company. Isn't this a bit sus? This rumour has the possibility of being true but we can't come to a definite answer yet
Hmm after watching all the eps so far is it just me but are y'all disappointed too? I can't even say I 100% know what the plot is LOL From start to end everything was so cliche but I have to say in the beginning I was actually excited, hoping that this drama might be the next Strong Woman Do bong soon but I was wrong :/ Imo I would only watch this drama if I was bored or had already finished watching all the other dramas
LMAO WHAT apparently Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji dated before but now shes dating his cousin? BRUH u literally can't tell me this is true they were fr SO flirty in their interviews and in the BTS drama clips
Bruh the director is genius. In the beginning scene we see Moon Young holding onto Kang Tae shirt desperately telling him not to go. The ending scene where we see them on her bed Moon Young does the same but this time forcefully tells him to go. Kang Tae begins to see all the built up hurt Moon Young has endured, that she isn’t as strong as she says to be, that her fit in the beginning wasn’t just her obsessing over him and decides to stay with her, to not “run away again.” Ah our cute safety pin <3
I’m glad that Kang Tae is starting to become more comfortable around Moon Young, opening up his heart more and his pent up pain so she could heal him. And we also see Moon young doing the same. Everything about their relationship is so raw and so this is what makes Moon Young different from Joori. Side note: I was actually expecting MY to throw a fit when she saw KT eating with Joori but sigh guess her jealously will show in the next coming eps :0
am i the only one confused about munyeong actions like this drama is spectacular but i rlly don't get why she's…
here’s the thing if u were aware or have been educated on what an Antisocial personality disorder is then you would prob have an easier time following this drama. But then again if u weren’t then it’s totally fine too. During FL’s “love confession” in ep 3 u see this disorder come to light u might think shes just acting crazy but there’s definitely some calculated manipulation in that scene. From the start of this drama to ep 5 she has shown no remorse or guilt for her actions (that pen scene was scary omg). She can’t even distinguish feelings of happiness or sadness and u see ML helping her with that. Luring ML brother was def over the top but that’s just simply because she doesn’t know that what she’s doing is wrong it’s part of her disorder. Her only goal was to get ML to live with her and she will use all means to get what she wants even thru manipulating ML brother
Wow literally the very first encounter they had was him saving FL from being choked by a psychiatric patient. The same thing happened to FL in ep 4 but instead it was by her own father. After reading Zombie Kid and hearing what had happened to FL, he begins to realize that all along, FL did understand him and in fact was the only person that had understood him. Go Moon Young's 'tantrums' and outbursts were all valid. From the way she reacted after being choked by that psychiatric patient (wow the knife skills) on their first meeting to her cold behaviour towards her father (that ML did not like). Yet Moon Kang Tae labels her as an 'empty can', someone who is just 'loud' but actually he is the one who is (how ironic moments before that scene ML yelled at his brother LOLLL). He really is a hypocrite and someone who didn't even take the time to truly get to know FL and rather pushed her away. Props to the director for contrasting the two choking scenes, emphasizing the now different emotions evoked by both characters.
