What’s so frustrating about this is that Liu Xueyi is MY guy. Not only is he ridiculously attractive, but the man can genuinely act. Yet for some reason, until Against the Current, almost all of his previous dramas have been mediocre. People would complain why someone with his talent never seem to get a good script, and honestly it's all because of the people who hype the hell out of these young idol actors who can barely act and all the good scripts end up going to them 🤦‍♀️I am so glad that this drama is doing well for him and TSY.

They’re just saying he looks really old to be ML. I mean, he’s always had facial lines even when he was younger....it’s just more noticeable in this drama because they use very little filter.
