Chinese artists have been jailed for writing bl stories. Actors lives have been almost ruined because of acting in bl dramas in china. They're risking everything because making bl in china risks jail and being completely banned from acting. Maybe research a bit on the China bl situation before making completely braindead statements on things you have no idea about!

You don't have to watch it lol. Supporting Chinese artists who are risking everything doing projects like these doesn't mean you're supporting the Chinese government. What a childish take.

There's been a ton of review bombing on this drama (from 8.6 to 7.8 currently). There seems to be a faction of mdl users that really hate bl. Almost every bl here gets low ratings and even some of the best can barely make it to 8.5. I simply don't trust mdl review scores anymore. I just read the comments.

The people complaining about the last episode should just stick to kids shows. Life for sexual minorities has always been complicated. Shows like this highlight how queer kids discovering themselves in hostile countries is extremely difficult and not like their dominant straight counterparts. You'd think "adults" would understand that...
