Wow, just wow, I never thought i would enjoy any other series as much as Joy of Life, but here I am. The story is soo captivating, and I hardly skipped throughout the 40 episodes.
Its gonna be long wait till S2 comes out, Maybe 2 years or so !! :(

thank you!!!

Joy of life is best imo if u are particularly looking for historic/ politics drama with little to decent romance . So so good !!!

kindly suggest some dramas -
1) slow burn
2) enemies-to-lover

Also the OST- " Don't Cry " was very good, very catchy. Totally wasted on princess tho :P

now i have to wait for another good Cdrama to be released. 2025 has been dry for me in terms of Cdrama.

solid 8/10 for me.

Empress is very pretty, too bad she is going to die the worst possible death( i hope).

so hard to find mature drama like this !!

little bit overrated. Direction and story felt little weak . 7/10 imo

cried like a bitch. Fuck man. Ok uncle, I will stop swearing.

Another masterpiece got ruined at the end . First 25-30 ep were very very good. But the last 10, oh the horrors. Ruined my mood.

it only goes upwards as the season progresses.. and yes WCR is love.

Tong Guang's delusion is on another level. (EP 24)

meant to say, "Are You the One"

"Any1 but you" also comes to my mind !

The best thing about this show is, that you get hooked into it by the very 1st episode itself. That's so rare for a C-drama . So impressed!!

8.5/10. The chem was very refreshing. Both the leads acted very well. A good mature romance drama.

Also, sometimes FL's face looked too white (like heavy makeup). Iirc, she looked so pretty in the traditional clothes when she went to the festival. There I think the makeup was on point.

7.5/10 . Nothing extraordinary. Was starving for mature romance, and binged it in 3 days.
