Oh my gosh!! Goong had like the first 5 and last 5 episodes that were worth watching! The in between was just crap fillers with a few good things!! I re-watched it by skipping through all the boring bit and I finished the drama so quickly!!

Gaah xD I loved it too!! Aww that drama was so good!! ^^ I finished Operation proposal a day ago! It's good, frustrating at times but Yoo Seung Ho bring such a cute smile when he does things right ^^ You could give it a try. Based on you watch list City Hunter for sure!!

The love story is definitely not new. You have the same antagonists, the same plot of the couple not being able to be together.
What's good about the early episodes is that the drama gives a view of S. Korea during the 1970's. The post civil war curfew, oppression of music and national anthem participation in the mornings [? morning I think]and the strict dress code. It's interesting to see for an outsider, as I would have never know the complexities of that the people in the country had to face through. To put a complicated, yet selfless love story in that was interesting too but they story was nothing new.
