Damn! it's 39 episodes, how much more fire the writer will put in the main lead's relationships, I am on 19th and thought that much is enough.

There is so much buildup from the start regarding Chu Lan and Bao Bao, but it turns out to be a fused firecracker in the end. Or only my expectations are too high; seeing chu lan in wang ye dreams as some daredevil, I expected a different kind of development.

Came here for Xiao Zhan but sorry this is not my cup of tea. too many annoying characters, and it seems to be one-sided love from ML most of the times.

We are watching shows for fun, to lighten our moods, not to let them depress us for a few weeks, then make our own endings to get peace with it.
And 2521 is like someone served you a very delicious meal, then at the end, instead of dessert gives you a tight slap.
I am not denying its astounding cinematography and beautiful performances, but a happy ending can be very much possible.
Even the second leads have gone through the same difficulties but got their happy ending.
It's just the director wants to mess with our heads and nothing more.
