I had some time to spare, and this was definitely a long watch however, in my opinion it was enjoyable. I've seen comments on here and other platforms asking whether this is a BL or Bromance and many people see it as either/or. I would say it's both a bromance and bl. While there are zero kissing scenes, zero sexual scenes, the chemistry is still there. Affection displayed was hugging, arm grabbing, shoulder patting/shoulder holds, and those staring into each other eye moments. They both have held feelings for the past ten years and currently showing care in one another. That's why I feel it could be both. They never actually said they were officially together, but they lived together multiple times, and the ending pretty much solidifies any other questions people may have. (See the flower note he is holding while welcoming his return) It's a good watch but I wouldn't say "drop everything and watch it now", but for sure if you have some time roughly 2 1/2 hours π definitely check it out π
Me personally....I never once believed he wanted his ex-back, even if I hadn't read the novel I still wouldn't come to this conclusion. I suppose it's partially because I'm "watching" the story unfold and also because similarly I've experienced being in a relationship and then where my ex came trying to come back into my life. I totally get all sides for sure.
From your perspective with what CC has AND is still battling is completely accurate and valid. Well-spoken indeed!! As I've just told someone else, I think working on yourself is the first step in "any" relationship and then progressing forward with those around you. It's just much healthier that way. You cannot control other people's actions only your own. Unfortunately, this has caused a lot of pain for these characters, which are all relatable in one way or another.
Okayyyyy, this right hereeee π I'm the type to see things from all sides before speaking, and this is so true!!…
Yes, we certainly see this, but it'll get better...I know I've experienced this in life before. I think it's scarier when you don't speak more than when you do.
Always the same retoric! CC is not blameless in this. Let me reverse it for you. WSW IS NOT BLAMELESS IN THIS…
Let's take it back to episode one in the series and chapter one in the novel. They certainly have both done right AND wrong ANDDDD that's okay....this is what the STORY is, let's WATCH AND APPRECIATE THE GROWTH AND HOW THEY WILL CONTINUE TO GROW!
