I was just going through some comments and noticed that a lot of people are hating on Phob’s mother, and I’ve seen quite a few edits about it as well.
And honestly, I think people are being too biased and judgmental towards her. Maybe it’s because I’m still on Episode 1 and haven’t seen much of her actions yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, I feel like people aren’t really trying to understand her perspective.
People need to remember that we’re talking about the early 1900s, when same-sex love was taboo. Maybe she could understand or even accept same-sex love, but the fact that her son had fallen for his master could be a completely different matter for her.
As we know, her family has been serving in the palace for generations, so she’s probably worried about bringing shame to her masters and preventing herself and her son from being disrespected or thrown out of the palace.
Maybe she simply chose to leave the palace with dignity rather than risk being thrown out.
And about her not letting Phob go study in Europe, I think in her mind, it’s already fixed that their family has been serving in the palace for generations, so there’s no escape from that path. And considering the era they’re living in, their mindset obviously isn’t going to change overnight.
Just think about how difficult it can be to convince our own parents or grandparents about something they’ve believed their entire lives. If our parents in 2026 can’t change their mindset that easily, imagine someone living in the early 1900s.
So I feel like people should take a moment to understand her perspective as well instead of immediately judging her🙂

I know it's good and I am going to watch it but I'm not really in a mood to watch something too emotionally. Maybe a soft fluffy BL for now. Is this the right one to watch rn?
Why is no one talking about this? Did I missed something, or were there actually so many plot holes?? 😭
1. What exactly did Teng Mo show Hao that made them become such great friends? And who was the person he found for Hao?
2. Who was Hao looking for, and why??
3. How does Teng Mo have so many connections in Jinyang to find whoever he found for Hao? Isn't he originally from Fengzhou?
4. If Teng Mo was a lawyer 5 years ago, how is he still so rich? Is he using his family's money? And is his family just okay with him spending so much? 😂
5. If someone is so afraid of getting involved with a murderer, first of all, that person probably shouldn't have been a lawyer by profession in the first place. And then he wouldn't normally go digging for someone that even a gangster couldn't find😭
6. And who exactly was the murderer who killed that lady?? If they didn't intend to clear that up, why make such a big deal about the murderer escaping in the first place?😭
I feel like I might've missed something because there are just so many things that weren't properly explained😂
by far one of the worst short dramas. The Teacher was too naive, dumb and hella soft. And as for Leon, he has to be one of my most hated characters😐 [Just my opinion]
I loved it so much😍 It's funny, cute and wholesome. Except the ending, it was so abrupt that I had to double check if I forwarded it🥲 But overall it was a great one😂❤️ I'm gonna miss them sm😭❤️❤️
I'm on Episode 5 right now, and I can see why some people are saying, "They caught the cheater too soon," or "The transition from hate to love between Akki and Veha was too sudden."
Although I understand where those comments are coming from, I personally found both things completely reasonable.
If they had dragged out the whole "catching the cheater" part, I think it would've become repetitive. And as for Akki and Veha, I feel their relationship progressed naturally. Veha already had feelings for Akki, and Akki's heart started to soften the moment he found out who Veha really was. Then, seeing everything Veha had to go through made him understand him even more, which naturally changed his feelings.
So, for me, both of those developments felt justified. But that's just my opinion. 🤗
