After watching this, I'll be a lot more careful about what I wish for?

Just completed watching this one and honestly, I'm so glad I randomly stumbled upon it while looking for my next watch. The concept immediately caught my attention, and since I've always had a soft spot for Taiwanese BLs, I decided to give it a try. Safe to say, I don't regret it at all.

What drew me in the most was how unique and fun the premise was. I'm exactly the kind of person who stays awake at 3 a.m. thinking about random "what if" scenarios, so a story revolving around wishes and shooting stars was right up my alley 🫣✨
In fact, after watching this series, I'm pretty sure I'll be a lot more careful about what I wish for 🥹

Going into it, I expected a light fantasy romance and nothing more. The concept felt playful, so I definitely wasn't prepared for any real angst. That's why when the story started dropping hints about what was actually happening, I literally had to pause and scream, "WHATTT???" 😭 I genuinely could not believe it. The shift caught me completely off guard and made me even more invested in the story.

What surprised me even more was the ending. I was convinced they were heading toward a typical cliché conclusion, but they ended up taking a different route, and I really appreciated that. It wasn't perfect. The ending did feel a bit rushed. But at this point, rushed endings are almost a trademark of Taiwanese BLs, so I've learned to make peace with it 😅

One thing I absolutely have to praise is the directing, especially in the final episode. There was something about the way those last scenes were shot that just elevated everything. Even if the ending felt a little rushed, the directing made it memorable, and honestly, the last episode ended up being my favorite because of it 🤌🔥

Overall, Wishing Upon The Shooting Star was a pleasant surprise. It starts off as a fun fantasy story, throws in emotions you don't see coming, and leaves you thinking long after it's over.

If you're into fantasy dramas and want something a little different, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a chance ❤️

It’s intense, thrilling, romantic...

Okay, honestly? This is one of the best thriller murder-mystery BLs I’ve watched so far.

From the very first episode, the tension pulls you in and refuses to let go. Every time I thought I had figured out who the murderer was, the show said, “Oh really?” and threw another plot twist right at my face. New villain. New motive. New suspicion. I swear, at some point, I looked at almost every single character as the killer. I kept questioning everyone — who had what reason, who benefited, who was hiding something.

The chemistry between Tan and Bun was just chef’s kiss. The slow-burn tension, the trust issues, the longing it all felt so real. And let’s not lie… Great in that fitted uniform? 🤌🤤
Absolutely illegal.

The second couple? Those kids were SO cute. They added softness and warmth to an otherwise dark and intense storyline. I think they deserved more screen time. They're so underrated 😭💔

But the Plot Twists Deserve an Award🤯

Jane’s murderer genuinely shocked me. I did suspect her at first, but just when I was almost convinced it wasn’t her — BAM. The reveal hit hard. And the things that unraveled toward the end? Slightly traumatizing😭

It’s one thing to know Jane suffered, and another thing to find out why she did what she did.
That part was genuinely disturbing and heartbreaking.

I kept praying for a happy ending. Or at least for everyone to survive. When Inspector M “died,” I was in complete disbelief. I was so ready to cry because I did NOT accept that he would go down like that. Seeing him again?
Instant relief.

The Minor Plot Holes👀

Now, while the series was brilliant, there were a few things that made me raise an eyebrow:

1. Why is no one locking their doors?? People just casually walk into houses at any time of the day or night.

2. They found evidence like the rope from Jane’s case and the injection from Pued’s murder… but never thought about checking fingerprints. Yet suddenly at the end, Por carefully uses a cloth to avoid fingerprints? Now you’re concerned?? 🙃

3. Someone had an abortion three months before their death… and that didn’t show up in the forensic report? That felt like a major oversight.

Despite the minor loopholes, Manner of Death is absolutely worth watching. It’s intense, thrilling, romantic, shocking, and emotionally heavy in the best way possible. The chemistry delivers, the suspense keeps you hooked, and the twists genuinely surprise you.

I would 100% recommend everyone to watch it at least once.
It’s a ride. And trust me — you won’t see half of it coming. ❤️

I'm at episode 8 and I don't know if I'm going to continue watching this or not?

NO HATE, IT'S JUST MY OPINION.
I'm still watching this, I just completed episode 8 and I just had to say this that Minato brother please STOP hurting baby Shin. Dude you either just accept your feelings or just tell him you need space and time, why do you have to keep hurting the person who loves you so dearly. I mean I understand you have your own doubts, insecurities and other reasons but that still does not justify you hurting poor Shin like this.
Also, from story perspective, it gets kinda repeative after a while, I mean the patterns are all the same now, Shin will try and be close to Minato and Minato's heart will skip a beat then out of nowhere Minato will give some (which I think is) illogical reason and reject Shin, Shin is now hurt and he'll get mad at him for like a second and then he keeps trying again then he does something that again makes Minato's heart to skip a beat and repeat. I'm not even sure if I'm going to countinue watching this forward

Loved Pond's acting ?❤️

I loved Pond's acting in Fourever You and honestly he was the reason I watched this series and it was definitely worth it. I mean I did feel Peterpan was a bit bland, his acting felt a bit off and awkward (just my opinion) but apart from that, I loved this drama. It had many clingy scenes, which I liked btw. Some of the scenes made me start punching the air and blush until my cheeks started hurting. I'll not give it a 10/10 rating as there were some potholes and as I said due to Peterpan’s acting but I'm giving it a 8/10❤️

if you are a MarkOhm fan too, you can watch this series once but I would not rewatch it.

I'm someone who has always loved Mark in every series, so when GMMTV finally announced that Mark is going to be a Main Lead in this series, I was obviously very excited about it. In the start I really liked it, I mean yes, at some points I did feel like Mark’s acting was a bit off but that was fine. I was starting to pull back from this series after like the 7th or 8th episode, the story was a bit stretched. While I'm currently struggling to make it past the 8th episode, I mean as a BL fan & as a MarkOhm fan I will watch this series because I love the chemistry between Mark & Ohm.
So if you are a MarkOhm fan too, you can watch this series once but I would not rewatch it.

I genuinely loved everything about...

I already had a feeling this review was going to be a long one because I genuinely have so much I want to talk about. This wasn't just another BL for me. It was one of those series that constantly made me pause, think, and appreciate the amount of care that went into every little detail.

Let's start with the directing because Episode 3 had two details that completely blew me away, and I'm not sure how many people noticed them.

The first one was right at the beginning of the episode when Tanrak hesitated before touching the Holy Water. The way I interpreted it was that he hesitated because he had masturbated the previous night. In his mind, he had already given in to one of the deadliest sins, making himself unholy and unworthy of touching something sacred. It was such a subtle moment, but it said so much without a single line of dialogue.

The second detail, and probably my favorite in the entire series, was the confession scene. Barth and Tanrak stood on opposite sides of the door, with Barth standing in a brighter white light while Tanrak remained on the darker, orange-toned side. To me, this felt like a visual representation of Tanrak's state of mind. He believed that loving another man and having lustful feelings had already condemned him to Hell, while Barth, who he thought didn't share those feelings, still belonged in Heaven. But the moment Barth confessed, Tanrak opened the door, and they both ended up standing on the same orange-toned side. I don't know if this was exactly what P'Aof intended, but that's how I interpreted it, and it made that scene even more beautiful and impactful for me. ❤️

Moving on to the acting... Gemini and Fourth have always had incredible chemistry, so that wasn't a surprise. But compared to My School President and Love Mix-Up!, this felt like a huge step forward. Fourth's portrayal of Tanrak especially deserves so much appreciation. I've never personally experienced the kind of confusion, guilt, fear, and panic that Tanrak was dealing with, yet Fourth made every emotion feel so genuine that I found myself understanding and feeling everything alongside him.

The story itself was also something we don't get to see very often in BL. It wasn't just a romance; it constantly made me question and reflect on religion, faith, guilt, and what it truly means to love God.

I'll admit, there were moments at the beginning that were difficult for me to watch because my own beliefs are different. Personally, I don't believe loving God means living in constant fear or sacrificing every little piece of your happiness. To me, loving God means loving yourself, loving others, and doing good simply because it's the right thing to do, not because you're trying to earn a place in Heaven. If you're constantly terrified that God will reject you, then I don't think that's love.

And that's exactly why I loved where the story ended. Instead of forcing a choice between God and yourself, it beautifully showed that you can love both. You don't have to abandon your faith to be true to yourself, and you don't have to abandon yourself to stay close to God. That message was, without a doubt, the most beautiful part of the entire series.

Overall, I genuinely loved everything about Ticket to Heaven. The acting, the chemistry, the directing, the symbolism, and the story all came together beautifully. It's one of those series that stays with you long after you've finished watching it, and I know I'll be thinking about it for a very long time. 🤌❤️❤️

Every story had its own charm✨?

I had been waiting to watch Fourever You 2 because I wanted to binge all three stories together, and honestly, I think that was the right decision. Watching them back-to-back made the whole experience much more enjoyable.

For me, each story just kept getting better than the previous one.

Beside The Sky started off really strong and had a solid emotional foundation, but it ended up being my least favorite because everything felt a little too rushed. Phoon's journey deserved more time, and I think this story had enough potential to be a full-length series instead of a mini one.

Then came The Sun From Another Star, which was a huge step up. I loved the unique concept, especially ghosts being scared of humans instead of the other way around 😂 Arthit and Dao had amazing chemistry, and Arthit's expressions whenever he was near Dao had me obsessed 😭❤️ My only complaint was that the series never really explained Dao's supernatural abilities.

And finally, Lately, It's Winter Season, which easily became my favorite. Maybe I'm a little biased because I've been drawn to Suea and Nao ever since Fourever You, but their story completely lived up to my expectations. The development felt natural, the chemistry was amazing, and Suea completely stole my heart. I just wanted to put him in my pocket and run away with him 😭❤️ The only thing that felt a little rushed was the ending.

Overall, I really enjoyed Fourever You 2. Every story had its own charm, the acting and chemistry were consistently great, and I loved seeing this friend group get their own happy endings. Even though I had a few complaints here and there, they never stopped me from enjoying the series.

My ranking:
❤️ Lately, It's Winter Season > The Sun From Another Star > Beside The Sky

I loved it and it's totally worth a watch❤️

I think it's right to say that this was one of the sweetest BLs I've watched. I mean the chemistry with them is just awesome, although it really broke my heart when they broke up but the way Chi Cheng looks after Wei Wei later is just so cute, I mean he literally treats him as his kid. I just loved them so much. And of course how can we forget the side character syndrome, (unpopular opinion) Guo Cheng and Jiang were a better and cuter couple. I liked them even more than I liked Chi Cheng and Wei Wei. And the way Jiang smiles at Cheng melted my heart so how could our lover Guo Cheng could not melt on that damn smile.
I loved it and it's totally worth a watch❤️

Definately worth a watch?❤️

This is the series that I have been searching for, I had watched edits on ig, had heard many reviews and recommendations about this. I kept thinking what was the fuss about, but then finally I watched this and it was totally worth it. Even though it's a little cringey and silly you'll not feel bored. This is something you can binge watch over a weekend (that's what I did).
I absolutely loved the main couple and also almost all of the side couples.
It's a Must Watch. I loved it. I'm definitely rewatching this😍❤️❤️

Definitely my top 2 best BL Series of 2025❤️

I just finished watching it, this was my first ever horror BL, I'm honestly not a big fan of horror and that was why it took me so long to finally watch this series but I'm so glad I did. I think this is definitely my top 2 best BL Series of 2025 after Revenged Love. The horror part is mostly in the 1st episode, after that it was not very scary. I also liked how Ramphueng’s reason was not one of those cliché ones but a genuine one. It's interesting how they have made it a mix of romance, horror, comedy and drama. I'll agree on some parts the execution was not on point but the storyline, the acting everything was just amazing. I definitely loved it🤌❤️
