im genuinely surprised how more people are not watching this show. it doesnt have much going on and the story line is vague but the conversations pass among each other are ones that make you think and reflect. the last 7 mins of episode 2 was so hard to watch because it hit so close to home. her liberation notes are mine too, things i wish to be liberated from as well. the feeling of loneliness is captured so well and the actors do such a good job also. cant wait to see what more this show has to offer!!
its insane how in 3 episodes this drama has made my heart wrench. it truly is heartbreaking to see how sunwoo is afraid to confess because he can't afford to lose her and how he thinks he would be getting in the way of her choices and how eunsoo has quite perhaps forced herself to not acknowledge the feelings she had for him all along. the distance eunsoo and sunwoo had when she found out was so sad to watch because there is the feeling of conflict and how even if you do reciprocate the feeling, what if it doesn't work out and it was better off if you stayed friends?? the worst part of unrequited love is the fear of losing someone you cherish so dearly and this show really does a brilliant job in potraying that feeling.
although it was a happy ending, the inclusion of new plot twists in the last episode was so unnecessary felt like it could have been introduced early on or atleast in ep 11 but overall good lighthearted cute show only complaint is that it was a bit rushed
i see a lot of people complaining about the ending and comparing them to jiwoong and yurim but their relationships are so not comparable and the reason for that is their careers, especially yijin's. the main reason they couldn't make it work is because he is a reporter, the time he spends with her and the effort that he can put into their relationship will not be enough all the time, maybe for a long time. and sure if they tired really hard maybe they could make it work but its inevitable that there are going to be times where they will end up unsatisfied and hurt each other just like what happened in the last episode and we know neither of them deserves to be in that kind of pain, especially if its inflicted from the one you love.
also it portrays each and every kinda of relationship so beautifully, love, soulmates, platonic, parent-child and friendship. honestly one of the best dramas i’ve watched so far despite the bitter sweet ending.
this show has honestly showed and taught me a lot. from friendship to love to heartbreak and finally longing. i personally feel it’s wrong to say that she has regret but there is alway that ‘what if’ in every choice we make. the show showed me that letting go is a part of life, be it a lover or friend, and letting go isn’t necessarily loss but rather a leap of faith, for an experience much greater and an opportunity to grow and shape yourself into a better being even if it means saying goodbye. after all, the only thing consistent in life is change.
also the switch of si woo's father was so unexplained????? like until we found out he had cancer he was such a bad father and had a terrible attitude like if anyone could explain his 'character development' please feel free to do so cuz i did not understand that one bit
okay so now that this is over i have to say i forced myself to watch this drama towards the last few episodes because i genuinely did like this show in the beginning and it so much potential but it was so lacking?? like idk what it was i cant put my finger on it but ya no. and the main leads were so bland, lack of chemistry aside, their relationship and and storylines were boring to say the least like i honestly watched the show till the end because of the side charcters who had much better storylines and arcs (yes even the exes) anyways over a solid 7/10 it was just messy writing in short.
if you see the birth certificate of the murderer it says that he was born in 1991 and and saeha was born in 1992…
ahhhh okay the problem is that when i first started watching the show when it aired it was super laggy and i didnt understand much plus waiting a week made me forget everything so i dont recall them showing his birth certificate but im more invested now so ty for informing this!!
omg what if the janitor's son is that murderer??!!! that would make sense why the ghost was after him in the actual timeline?? but if that's the case then saeha and the murderer would have to been in the same age range??? idk can you tell im confused lmao
honestly another great episode, the shopping scene and the tarot scene were probably my favorites!! the things that connect them (not exactly but idk how to word it better lol) are mandarins, their 19 yo friendship, her need for his help writing this song and her being his muse. (also when phs said that hsh looks good in every photo he wasnt kidding omg shes fr so pretty <3)
although only an episode is out, i can already tell you that this is going to be one of my comfort dramas !! the aesthetic and ambiance is gorgeous and the ost is so good !! need not mention the great acting cuz the characters and potrayed by two very good actors lol
what a great first episode !! honestly i think 4 episodes is a great considering the theme and the fact that our focus is only on phs and hsh but sucks that its not longer because we are robbed of more phs and hsh content TT
