I wanted to cry but I was emotionally numb and just frustrated/annoyed. At first I didn't believe he would die but then I saw the bullet wound and the blood and had to accept it.

I'm gonna scroll an read some comments and find yours soon. But yessss so true bestie! There's no real message in this show other than the fact that mere workers will take the fall / are collateral damagewhile the mastermind / head bad guy gets away scot free.
It's so messed up that Shi Oh was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The fact that Nozh / Bread Song ordered Bin Bin to kill him was EVIL! Just betrayal after betrayal for him. At that point I would want to kms too. Pavel just used him to do their dirty work. He actually wanted to change / make a difference so other little boys wouldn't have to end up the way he did. If people truly believe he wanted to just kill people with drugs why would he make an antidote? It just makes no sense. Everything Nam Soon said was bullshit about how he didn't know whether he was a real light or a fake light but he could be real if he had someone on his side.
THE WAY SHE WAS OUT TO GET HIM FROM DAY 1. If she didn't put those thoughts in his head or make him believe he could actually be redeemed and worst of all – trust her – then all of this wouldn't have happened. He would have never let his guard down, he would have never been caught and he could have accomplished all he set out to do. But now he's just dead – like his hopes & dreams.
What pissed me off even more was her crying when she saw him kill himself. Like isn't that what she wanted? In the end they both were crying for different reasons. Him because he lost everything because of Nam Soon, and her because she was shocked and obviously cared about him to an extent too (even though she realized it too late) She literally didn't want him to die when it finally came down to it. They killed the best thing that ever happened to the drama / plot... all for what?! Tbh Geum Ju and Nam Soon + the police department didn't really accomplish anything by killing him bc Bread Song is still alive and Pavel is far from done scheming / plotting.
I really don't think the writer had any idea wtf she was doing this entire drama. I hope she's having fun collecting her LOSS bc this was a very big disappointment. Ryu Shi Oh deserved to have a chance to turn his life around and help other kids who were trapped in Pavel and forced to become killers / follow their orders. He just wanted to be free, I mean he created the antidote for a reason, it was supposed to be his way out.

I suspended my beliefs to watch this... it starts out talking about how demons live with humans and protect them. I was annoyed but ignored it lol. It's just a silly fantasy drama...
