L O L this show. What tf are we even watching like??? I can't even bring myself to vent about episode 6 because a) I don't even know where to start and b) it's just getting beyond ridiculous now...
I'll start with the elephant in the room: Seo Dongma.
Poor Piyoung. I felt so SORRY for her the entire episode, to the point where I was getting anxiety from their scenes. The most unattractive thing a guy can do is come on too strong and especially in this situation where they have only met briefly ONCE before; Dongma came on TOO STRONG๐๐๐ The audacity of him to say that they would marry and have another sibling for Jia. He didn't take into consideration that 1) Piyoung might already be seeing someone 2) that she might not even want to remarry at all 3) that I don't know, maybe she isn't attracted to him??? Looks are not everything but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I know Dongma is handsome but what if he wasn't her type??
Their scenes made me extremely uncomfortable, esp. the dinner scene where he was acting all pushy, possessive and entitled. Look, I really wanted them together from the S2 finale when they showed us those shock weddings BUT I thought the way they would've gotten together would've been handled differently. Namely, I thought it would be Gabin who would end things with him and then he would fall for Piyoung; not him being a fuckboy to his fiancee who just lost her parents. I take back what I said about wanting Piyoung and Dongma together. I see him as a serious๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ
Don't even get me started on their kiss. It was NOT romantic. In fact it was the opposite for me. He asked Piyoung for a hug and she said no, so in what world does he think a kiss wouldn't be something to make her uncomfortable or uneasy??? And not to make it about consent because there are times when kissing doesn't need to be consensual but THIS was a time when it should've been. Sigh.
I found this episode to be extremely BORING. It lacked the chemistry that Piyoung had with (old) Yushin. Remember that episode that was dedicated just to them when they were talking about getting divorced? That episode was riveting and entertaining and perfectly executed. This episode predominantly focused on Dongma and Piyoung's awkward encounter and it just ruined any excitement or expectation I had for them to become a couple.
Dongma needs to go to THERAPY. If you are capable of breaking up with your fiancee over another woman's screams, you clearly are not well in the head!!! I nearly died of second hand embarrassment when I saw him dressed as the pirate next to Piyoung and Jia on the ride๐๐ He just gave off stalker vibes and he was an entire walking red flag this episode๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ
Speaking of red flags. Seo Ban proposing to Sieun next episode is ANOTHER ONE. What is with these brothers???? Don't get me wrong, I do ship Sieun and Ban BUT calm down sir! I get that he has loved Sieun for 40years and its his first love and that he wants to be with her etc. But DATE first. She's been divorced before, she probably wants to take things slow. She has been burnt before and she has children consider. She has been reluctant to invite Ban over for meals with her children so WHY would he think that proposing to her after two dates is what she wants???? I'm telling you, she's going to feel pressured and overwhelmed ... I'm calling it now, she will end up with her ex husband because Ban is moving too fast.
Speaking of getting back with exes. Do we think Haeryung will end up with Sahyun?? She was looking at pictures of his baby on her mobile. I can see them ending up together now since Song Won has died...unless he still marries Ami like the S2 finale hinted at?? I will LAUGH if all three wives end up with their husbands?? Who knows where this show will go.
I'm excited to see Jia FINALLY wake the hell up next episode and find out about Ami. That girl is too old to be THAT in denial about her parents not living together. Also I'm so happy that the ghost grandpa left because he was just ridiculous.
I donโt think he really ever felt true love for NGB. I think the second time they got back together he felt…
Same. I find it extremely hard to believe that you can dump someone you supposedly "loved" for a woman you don't know from shit. Also to dump your fiancee while she's dealing with the death of her parents - that's cold
Look I know its karma for what Gabin did by coming into between the professor and Sieun's family but Dongma breaking up with her for a SECOND time is just too fucking cruel & a total dick move. I wanted him & Piyoung together, I was most curious to see how they would become a thing BUT I thought it would be Gabin that would end things with him; not him dumping her again. We don't know much about his character but obviously it feels like he only wanted to get back with Gabin because he wants what he can't have and then gets bored once the thrill is gone. Piyoung deserves better than this. I'm annoyed.
I noticed the difference in the residences also. They donโt seem aselegant as before. Remember that one of a…
I agree that its time to end this funeral and mourning period. Its dragged out for too long. A time jump would've been much better and maybe they could've shown us what happened each episide through flashbacks??
Haeryung is looking so much prettier since she scaled back on her makeup. I'm not a fan of racoon eyes in general. Kinda worried that she will revert back to her old ways now than Ban is dating Sieun, since she only refined her makeup to suit his taste. I'm curious to see if she will go back to Sahyun now that Ban is off the market.
I agree that the sets, clothes, apartments and cars all look cheaper. I think they don't care because its the final season or maybe the budget wouldn't allow them to spend more? It kinda feels like a new show altogether๐ญ
Add me to the list of those not sure why they are still watching this mess. I call it "The Trainwreck Drama".…
THANK YOU. I thought I was the only one that noticed the set change especially in Yushin's house which looked amazing in S1-2 but now looks like a completely different apartment in S3 !!! The new set looks so cheap as opposed to the old one.
I'm still torn over these new actors. I really thought the old Yushin & Dongmi really nailed their roles. I'm trying to give the new actors ago but sometimes, they pull me out of the drama altogether. I was never a fan of Sunghoon (sorry, not sorry) or Sahyun so I'm thankful for his recast though. It's hard to get used to the other two though.
I have no idea what that scene with Dongma and Piyoung was about either. Like firstly where were they? At a hospital? A beauty/cosmetic clinic? Why did Piyoung scream? I agree, there must've been a scene that was cut because that storyline does not make sense. Also, what was with Dongma's reaction to hearing someone call out Piyoung's name?? Like he literally checked her out. I think the reason he takes Gabin to an amusement park is to hear her scream lol. He told his brother that he can't get Piyoung's screams out of his head.
I agree with you about Sahyun, i also hated him the most out of the 3 men. Now i can tolerate him but i still…
๐๐๐ They are a very annoying, selfish family. I really hate their manchild son but you can see WHY he turned out like this because the parents are ultimately at fault.
Definitely agree with the sizzling chemistry between the original Yu Shin and chatacher Sa Pi Young. And the new…
It was actually my favourite episode of the series so far. I don't get why so many hated it. It was so suspenseful and entertaining from start to finish. The chemistry, the animosity, the history that they shared was unmatched. The episode only really focussed on that conversation but it didn't feel long or dragged out at any point for me because I loved it so much. So happy to find others that enjoyed it too! :)
Maybe I can try to watch. I really am glad Songwon died. Please donโt hate me. I just could not stand her poor…
Oh don't worry, I get it. I was really vocal for my hate of Songwon and their relationship for all of S1 until mid-season two. They were extremely hard to watch in S1 for me. I would be cursing at my screen everytime their scenes came on. I continued to hate them in S2 but kinda grew to like her a little mid way through the season. I definitely think it was Sunghoon/Sahyun that I really hated the most. I'm so happy that Sunghoon dropped out of the drama and was recast so I don't have to see his face because I don't hate the new Sahyun at all lol. I guess he feels like a different character two episodes in. But even with Songwon's death, I would still be struggling to watch Sahyun's scenes if Sunghoon was still playing him.

The hair is atrocious ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Yes omg I loved that episode. So many people on here hated it because they thought it was too long or drawn out or didn't include any of the other characters but like you, I also found it riveting and fascinating to watch. It was like 45-50 mins dedicated just to them. I really felt like they were the couple with the most natural chemistry. They played so well off each other.
Definitely agree with the sizzling chemistry between the original Yu Shin and chatacher Sa Pi Young. And the new…
๐๐๐Literally all of this.
That chemistry is gone. Also their scenes together will take time to get used to because there's no history thre like the previous actors had for two seasons.
The new Dongmi is just flat. There's no hot grandma vibes, no scheming vibes, she's just there. And what's with that awful hair???
I'm kinda sad that Songwon died. Don't get me wrong she was the girlfriend that I hated the most (esp. in season one and early season two) but idk killing a woman off after she's finally had a child is really cruel. Anyone else feel the same??
Also I can definitely see how Ami and Sahyun become thing now...mutual mourning over Songwon but still this show UGH Seoban was meant to marry Songwon so like was that a dream??? Were all those weddings a dream sequence???
I agree with you about Sahyun, i also hated him the most out of the 3 men. Now i can tolerate him but i still…
I agree with you about Yushin's replacement being a downgrade. When I first heard about the cast changes, I was praying that it wasn't Lee Taegon because he was so fine๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ I was absolutely devastated to find out that my worst fear had become a reality.
๐๐Thank you. I really HATE Sahyun and Songwon and the way the parents are onboard with his cheating, pregnancy and new relationship๐๐

Dongma & Piyoung.
Ami & Sahyun
Seo Ban & Song Won (dead)

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY HUSBAND AHN BOHYUN SLAY โค๐โค๐โค
