Pardon my French but wtf did I just watch???
Have you ever started a drama that was so bad, like SO BAD that you want to drop it but at the same time its too mind boggling stupid that you want to just watch it so you can laugh at how shit it was? Well welcome to 28 faces of the moon.I went looking for short dramas that I could watch on my commute to and from work. My bus ride is just under 20 mins so rather than getting upset to leave a normal episode of drama incomplete until I get home, I thought I would look into shorter dramas with 10-20 mins episodes. That is how I found this fiasco. I had previously watched Kiss Goblin which was 12x 10 minute episodes and a MILLION times more exciting/ interesting than this so I thought I was getting the same kind of quality here? HA HA HA
The irony is, the summary actually sounds interesting. I don't know who wrote this or produced it, but it definitely missed it's mark. It had the potential to be great. It failed HARD.
The acting was bad. The storyline was bad. I wanted to drop it every step of the way but my pride forced me to finish it because I don't like leaving things incomplete.
Overall, if I could rate this zero stars, I would but MDL doesn't have that option. I guess the 1 star is too generous for this mess but here you go writers1/10. Thanks for wasting my time.

Not Train to Busan but 100 times better than Peninsula
I went into this movie with high expectations. I felt satisfied after finishing it. I don't understand the negative reviews. I definitely enjoyed it MORE than Peninsula, which I felt was such a let down after the masterpiece that was Train to Busan.People are saying that it was slow moving but I think it went at a good pace and was entertaining until the end. Slow moving for me is 99% of the walking dead which is literally packed with boring, filler episodes. At no point in this movie was I bored or waiting for it to end. It held my interest from start to finish. So that's why I would consider re-watching it again. I am also a huge Park Shin-hye fan so maybe I'm a tad bit biased?
Check it out for yourselves :)

WORST KDRAMA EVER. GIVE ME BACK THE 20HOURS THAT I WASTED
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I honestly want the 20 hours of my life that I wasted on this bullshit drama back!!!Ugh, I do not even know where to begin with this review!!!!! This was hands down the WORST Kdrama I've ever seen and 28 faces of the moon literally exists! At least with 28 faces of the moon, it was soo bad that you could laugh. This mad me angry from start to finish.
The show's premise sounded so interesting & the pilot was semi ok-ish. I won't lie, I was a little intrigued but a few episodes in, I wanted to drop it so bad. My stubborn ass doesn't drop dramas so next came the torturous, agonizing CHORE of "trying" to finish this. I lost track of the amount of times this drama put me to sleep! I wish I was kidding but I literally fell asleep about three times an episode. I could barely get through 1-2 episodes a day and I'm a notorious kdrama enthusiast & bingewatcher.
I cannot stress enough how shit this drama was. Apart from Sharon/Seo Ji-hye's character, everything was BAD: The drama leaves so many plotholes unanswered. The characters are annoying. The lack of chemistry between the leads was the biggest let down. At no point did I ever ship them together in their past life or present & their forced love story didn't help --- all the "cute" scenes were an absolute cringe-fest for me. It's ironic that Soo-hoo had better chemistry with Sharon even when he was looking at her with disgust than the actual "love of his life" Hae-ra. And don't get me started on Shin Se-kyung's HORRIBLE acting. There's a reason why I never watch her dramas anymore. I will NEVER put myself through anything else she stars in again, because just like always her acting is so flat and bland and extremely tiresome.. Speaking of acting, I rated the overall acting a 5 here, for Seo Ji-hye's performance. I would've rated her acting a 10, but she was the ONLY one (apart from the actress who played Baek-hee) who could act so the rest dragged the acting down. Kim Rae-won was hot, sure, but he literally had one expression the entire time. Even his acting, I found to be disappointing. The second leads had better acting range, in my opinion.
Sharon to me, really saved this drama. Her acting was phenomenal. Yes, she too was annoying in parts while she was trying to separate Soo-ho & Hae-ra, but from start to finish, I was surprisingly on her side. I just couldn't root for the leads. Don't ask me why?? I felt so sorry for Sharon. She really loved Soo-ho and to see her rejected time and time again broke my heart. I think the writers did a great job of making me HATE Soo-ho by the end. His behaviour was appalling. I understand that he didn't love Sharon in the present life, but he owed her an apology for the way he acted in his past life. It's not lost on me that Sharon killed him and Hae-ra out of jealousy and she too should've apologised BUT there should've been some mention by him of loving her during the early years of their marriage, at least until she couldn't provide him children. We saw how happy they looked in a flashback when they were sleeping in bed together and the fact that an acknowledgement scene like this was omitted just proves that the writers tried hard to force this narrative that Hae-ra was always the woman he loved not his first wife...well I didn't buy it. Poor Sharon didn't ask to be swapped at birth with Hae-ra. All she was truly guilty of was loving her husband so much that her jealousy turned her into a monster. Also quick side note: was I the only one who thought Soo-ho actually looked miserable in his married life with Hae-ra while she started to age? At first, I thought he was sad that she was getting old because he knew their time was limited, but then I was like nope he's genuinely miserable.
Two other things annoyed me aside from the things I wrote above. 1) We don't really get any closure regarding Park Gon & Yeong-mi's relationship. I actually shipped them MORE than the leads! Obviously they must've married because they stayed together while the show did a lame attempt at a future time jump. But I wanted a scene where Gon tells Yeong-mi that he loved her. It was always implied that he loved Hae-ra more and I wanted him to snap out of that and love the girl who stayed loyally and lovingly by his side! 2) At the start of the show, it says that anyone that did business dealings with Soo-ho and tried to rip him off or go against him, was either killed or badly injured. This is shown one other time randomly when a business associate pulls out of a deal and his son ends up him a coma after a bad car crash. But why??? How??? Did Soo-ho order a hit? Was he cursing the people who went against him? Was he an evil man pretending to be good? We saw a lot of his nasty side with how he dealt with Sharon, so he wasn't a saint. Why was this never addressed? The writers needed to explain this better because I still don't know what tf happened to that man's son or why we don't hear about the suspicious circumstances that befall those who go against him. It's literally mentioned in the pilot and then forgotten about for several episides, mentioned once and then never again. That annoyed me.
Anyways, I've wasted enough of my time writing this review. Watch it, if you're brave but if you think "I'm going to stick with it, because it'll get better" --- DON'T. You are only wasting your time. But how knows, you might actually like it? I wish I could have the 20hours of my life that I wasted back!

NOT WORTH THE HYPE but watch and decide for yourself
Personally, I hated this drama. It came HIGHLY recommended to me and it fell so very flat and flopped so hard. Everyone was praising it like it was the best drama of 2023. Really?????? Not by a long shot when dramas like Destined with you, My Demon, Welcome to Samaldri, See you in my 19th life, Twinkling Watermelon etc exist. Not going to lie, I watched this drama and I was hooked by the pilot episode. Despite usually avoiding Sung Hoon's dramas like the plague (MR ONE EXPRESSION), I really did like the main female lead and was willing to give the show a go. I feel like the first few episodes were semi-ok and piqued my interest but the acting of the Stepmother was so OVERDONE and CRINGE even for a makjang drama and then every single episode was torture to finish. Thankfully the drama is short so I pushed through it. The chemistry of the leads kept me going where the storyline was boring and predictable etc.
I guess I couldn't take the drama all that serious when they essentially did CONTROL COPY AND PASTE to the entire Love Ft Marriage Divorce cast into this drama. Seriously it was a joke.
It's a drama that I will never rewatch but it wasn't the worst kdrama that I've ever seen either. I just get really mad with people praising it like it was the bes thing ever. Watch and decide for yourself.

HIDDEN GEM! A MUST WATCH DRAMA <3
What a hidden gem and treat this show was. I started it expecting it to be your typical cliche time travel show where they go back to the past and STILL fall in love again blah blah blah. But this show honestly was so much more. The storyline was so good. Especially the scenes with the female lead and her mum, which made me cry rivers. I also loved the jealousy from both leads when the other was talking to their potential love interests in the past. Overall, I laughed, I cried. I binged it in two days and now there's a void in my heart. I really want to rewatch this show again because it honestly meant so much to me. Aside from the good storyline, the CHEMISTRY between the leads was electric. The ending of episode 11/beginning of 12 LIVES IN MY MIND RENT FREE. Just watch this drama !!!<3 <3Was this review helpful to you?
11/10 - A MUST WATCH!
If you are unsure whether or not to watch this drama, I highly recommend it. Not going to lie, full disclosure: I biasedly went into this drama because of my LOVE for Jo Jung-suk and I was not disappointed at all. Not even for one minute. The storyline is will make you laugh and cry. It's funny and romantic and sweet. The love story between the leads is just perfection. Their chemistry, their banter...unmatched! And of course my favourite part is how Sun-woo "tries" to fight off Bong-sun's flirty advances but you can clearly see that he still totally loves the attention (the little smirk/smiles he makes whenever she is throwing herself at him or wrapping herself around him)
Whenever Bong-sun was possessed by Soon-Ae I was in stitches from laughing so much. It honestly made me love Park Bo-young because her acting ability is just phenomenal (just look at the difference in Bong-sun's personality and mannerisms whenever she is possessed by Soon-Ae and when she is not)
The show had everything: comedy, romance, family bonding, heartbreak, life lessons and a satisfying ending.
If you loved Hi Bye Mama, Mystic Pop-Up Bar, The Uncanny Counter and Hotel De Luna, you will love this show. It is one of my favourite comfort dramas and I will never get tired of rewatching it. 11/10 - A MUST WATCH!

THE CHEMISTRY !!!!!!!!!!!! [insert flame emojis]
Definitely worth the watch. Worth the hype. One of the best dramas of 2023.Came for the visuals of the leads and stayed for their CHEMISTRY. Great fake dating to lovers trope. Strong female CEO.
Storyline was good too. A little predictable in parts but nevertheless an entertaining watch from start to finish.
Side note: the gangsters are hilarious and provide great comedic relief. All their scenes had me in stitches. Koreans always do such a good job with comedy. LOVED THEM.

cathartically beautiful
Ignore the bad reviews, this drama is definitely worth the watch. Don't miss out.My only grievance with this drama was that the episodes got longer and longer as the show went on. Almost to like literal movie length episodes and it was kinda hard to watch them after work when I'm exhausted (I work in a hospital so I'm always tired haha). I feel like it could've had shorter episodes around the 1hour mark and maybe 20-24 episodes instead? That was the only fault I found with the show. Aside from that, I loved it so much.
Be prepared for a lot of angst and PAIN from start to finish. You will cry. You will laugh. You will scream at all the twists and turns along the way. Some twists were super predictable (but aren't most kdramas like this?), still as a whole it was a cathartically beautiful drama. You can expect the same level of angst/pain as Crash Landing on You.
The entire cast was brilliant and nailed their roles. I am going to miss watching them every week.
Oh and the chemistry between the leads is electric <3

I watched for Ahn Bo-hyun and was NOT disappointed ;)
I feel a little bit like a phony writing this review. I was not at all familiar with this show until I heard that Ahn Bo-hyun aka my husband was going to be guest starring in S3 so I pretty much watched this season just for him.I have never seen S1 or 2. I have no idea if they follow the same format. While I was watching this season I was confused by what kind of show it was lol. When Bo-hyun came on screen, I couldn't care less and focused all my attention on my handsome man. I thought it was hilarious that they made him a villain again especially since he played the same roles in Itaewon Class and Kairos. The first role I ever saw him in was in Her Private Life with Park Min-young. I shipped their characters so much but of course he was the second lead 3 It was so good to see them on screen again during this season of Busted. Their chemistry is TOP TIER. I really hope they play leads in a romantic comedy one day in the future.
Sorry guys, that is pretty much all I can say about this show because I only partially watched it for my man. Oh and seeing Bo-hyun fly through the obstacle courses especially the ones that involved balancing or heights; just made me love him a billion times more hahaha
