ok I love my Dog... but this boy just dealt with the death of his grandfather and y'all thought we wanted his dog to die too and the overdramatic scene and flashbacks for a DOG ? LOL BE SERIOUS
1. Name and EM are carrying this series on their backs and the show could have been 6 to 8 episodes focused on them. 2. Nan is only getting so much screentime because Mean is directing this show. his character storyline is so not connected or important to the plot. 3. Gun and Golf started off as a terrible pairing ... got better in the middle and fell apart again at the end. this show could have been so much better but it just felt apart.. it's sad cause they have a really talented cast.
I think those view numbers are actually very good, and you can't tell based on such a short run of the series.…
all shows drop 50 percent thats common knowledge in the BB world.. the drop is not the debate I was making. its the viewing numbers.. all shows drop 50 percent.. thats basic knowledge if u follow the bl world.... previous gmmtv bls like sky in your heart and enchante was pulling in 1 million after a week of release.. I'm comparing it to those shows not Bad Buddy. and those shows numbers im comparing it to are on the lower totem pole of viewing numbers. By episode 3 a show has acquired its core auidience... the ''drop'' in audience... which bad buddy had to be around 5 million is usually the amount of ppl who will consistently watch the show from now on till the show ends which is factual because bad buddy average 3 to 5 million per episode moving forward. .. bad buddy's views were so high even 50 percent cut would not be a big loss.. but if a show is pulling in 1 million.. a 50 percent drop is very noticeable.
show doesn't seem to be connecting to the larger BL audience as the high school genre is now very niche. episode 1 part 1 has 1.1 million after 2 weeks while episode 1 part 2 has only 500k.... episode 2 after one week is at 600k... seems like the show might struggle to be consistently over 1 million as thats usually the standard for a ''modest hit'' on youtube for gmmtv.
solid first episode... some of the plot points didn't make much sense to me... their acting IMO has improved but not that much... the cast doesn't feel as strong but time will tell. at times it feels like they want us to take the plot seriously but the acting doesn't make me want to be.... as for having a undertrained young boy bodyguard your teenage son who is the heir to a billion dollar empire ? hmmm I guess its believable in the BL world ?
I was lowkey more interested in the 3 side couples storyline and wish we saw more of them.. SMH. this episode felt like it wasn't even shot for the finale but just another random episode
it's better than oh my sunshine night but then again even the turd on the sidewalk is better than that so that's not high praise... but solid so far... can't wait for the plot to pick up
the concept in theory is good but something is missing.. I like the plot... but it seems very slow and its a short series so why take so long to get to the point.
