I actually love remakes.. I watch all the Skam Remakes when they come out.. I have no issues with remakes if done well... GMMTV track record so far is not good

I will say the first episode of My Love Mix UP made me go rewatch Kieta Hatsukoi so I will thank My Love Mix Up for that... Michieda's performance as Aoki remains top tier. and Meguro Ren's delivery was done so well. It takes just as much talent to be stoic as it does to be animated.

if u think mydramalist where kpop and bl fans spam rate stuff is the place that determines critical acclaim.. you are surely in the wrong place.

I really need them to stop adapting stuff that has already been mastered... Cherry Magic was a 10 and Kieta Hatsukoi was a 10... the style of the manga will always suit a Japanese adaption more than Thai because it's literally Japanese source material... so trying to adapt these shows into a Thai setting and culture doesn't work and it becomes very cringe to watch.

just got done with the first episode.. I'll give it a 7/10... I agree with a comment below that the directing needs a lot of work and I've been saying for some time that GMMTV production team needs an overhaul and bring in fresh talent... some of the music during the scenes were very odd to me...

I'm about to check it out... it's interesting that u said they tried to copy the japanese version when fourth and gemini said in an interview today that they made it very thai and made it much more like their culture and tone lol.

was Kieta Hatsukoi the first live adaption ? if so that's what I mean by OG

doing a remake and expecting people not to compare the OG characters and actors is illogical......

Fourth is gonna have a tough time living up to the master class of acting that the actor who played Aoki did in the OG series.

I loved this at first but I find myself skipping through most of the episodes lately... too little is going on for a series with 16 episodes.. the plot is as thin as Bright's vocals..

If I see one more DRESS YOUR WOUND scene in a BL series when the wound is literally nothing.. I'm gonna SCREAM lol

JUSTICE for the 2nd couple... the scene in the locker room when he realizes how much he misses him.. the acting was SOOO GOOD

This could have been a masterpiece on the Eight Sense level if done right...this was such a unique plot.. and the backstory with both of their brothers could have been expanded so much more. I was really annoyed with the internalized homophobia from the lead and how quick they expected us to forgive him and get over it.. 8/10 for me.
