I want to love this drama and there is a moment when I feel like it hits, but I feel like the script has no idea about anything. The chemistry and acting of the leads and the pretty views can only take it so far.
A cute slow story showing a side of life that wasn't explored as much before. You can say in a way it was leasd by the male lead feeling lost and everyone needing his guidance to feel okay again. I agree that the romance wasn't as big, but I feel the romance needed the other parts to be okay first so it could bloom.
Rated as a drama and not as a romance drama, it is a solid 8.5 from me.
Viki is 4 weeks behind on this drama, but still I'll give views there too cause they need to see there is interest in jdramas. Hopefully more views will bring more legal means to support our fave jdramas.
I've watched japanese straight dramas and also asadoras. You could have a married couple of 20+ years who would barely hug, let alone kiss. The point of jdramas is personal growth and emotional connection. It is obvious mdl comments are always from people expecting something different, so why do they keep coming to j-bls and complaining I don't know.
Anyways, yet another j-bl with low ratings. Maybe it's better that way so the dramas get less views and less judgement from western stans.
As always it seems like I've watched a drama different from others in this site. I'm used to it π It was a good drama, and the ending made sense to me. Of course, seems I'm one of the few so I'll just quietly move along
I'm so interested cause episode 6 will be Mamochi chosing where he wants to take his career. Also I can see how the stalker reporter might harrass them both in the giture and that pisses me off. Why are reporters scum most of the time, ugh π
This time Minato disappoimted me. He had no right to put that burden on Sou's shoulders. Sou had a real reason for disappearing years ago, meanwhile Minato just was too weak.
I realize that ratings on MDL rarely exceed an 8, but even so, the rating of 7.8 here is low. The two newest Taiwanese…
People automatically consider Japanese dramas too "weird" or "exaggerated" and dismiss them or rate them low. This drama had a rating of 8 by episode 1 and it only went lower, thus proving people didn't even care.
This drama is about broken people after Sou left them and they are all stuck in some way. Tsumugi, Minato and even Sou need to go through this to be able to move on. Maybe we won't get the romance of Sou and Tsumugi, but I hope we will get them at a better place than on episode one.
As for Minato, he deserves more than Tsumugi. I can see his flaws, but part of it is also cause his relationship with his gf is severely lacking from both sides.

I bet moralists who hated season one and complained and called everyone a creep for liking it will be the first to watch it π
The story was a bit vonfusing to me, but I watched it raw so it was expected. Still I am going to watch cause of the cast.

I mean he is a bi in training π

Wow, I sound like hater. I'm so sorry Minato π
