When both got casted, they haven't been known before compared to now in cdrama scene. LYR is already filming Rebirth when he got famous, both were already confirmed the role for Rebirth so there's no strong reaction such as what is happening now to this Ai Mi situation 😑. And for DSC, he's more well known in kpop scene and started gaining strong attention from Perfect Match at least here in international cdrama side. When they all got confirmed for the role, the ten equal billings are mentioned and it is not easy to see that he got paired with a minor back then. His fans will also not deliberately set him up for this as stan twt esp dragging in kpop is toxic and exhausting af.

I may have not worded it better as I'm half asleep while typing this. What I mean wiyu "it's acceptable at some sort" is because for sure many will rebuttal that she's already of legal age like that like this and that she can decide on her own like but here with Ai Mi, what can you even reason or make do with this arrangement as she's literally a minor, not nearing 18 but a 16 yr old that will turn 17 this year 🙅. I did see that reaction of 10 years gap from HYYT fans but it's not that serious compared with this Ai Mi situation who's a child all throughout the filming. I did see some reactions in the Perfect Match mdl page but the reaction will not be as strong as Minghao is more popular in the audience🤦. Though it is debatable, HYTT was indeed mentioned with rumors starring here but she will be of legal age this July if her issues did not happen so it is still acceptable at some sort, but this right here with casting a new flower who is a minor all throughout the entire filming makes me think how disgusting this casting director is (not that he/she is not disgusting by considering HYTT too). For sure Minghao will get blamed like he personally picked her like this like that when he don't have a say on who will be the final FL, actors don't get to pick and choose their co-stars 😑.

The possibility of this melon to become true is high that's why I'm here crashing out with this FL casting decision. Majority of Cnetz are happy for her for landing this role and this made me crash out ten times more. The way it is encouraged by them who always have something to say to petty issues with their strong cancel culture frustrates me to the core. They even justified her taking this role with many examples such as HYTT filmed with LYR. Also Zhao Jin Mai was pulled to justify filming romance dramas while being a minor + also Liu Yi Fei .

I'm also facepalming as the majority in the CEnt side supports her for this role like tf?!
