His haters are getting crazier from jealousy for bagging this role even from that screentime. You know how the director got influential after his successful drama "The Knockout" and yes his first fantasy drama. I see fans getting anxious as this is his first time trying it, who knows what will be the final product. The Unclouded Soul is his comeback after that megahit and the pressure is on. What I'm kinda worried about is that the traffic and promotion of the drama is so poor gosh. In the latest released materials in the drama's official dy acc, only the solo poster of Hong Ye in douyin got 14k likes and the rest, at the range of 5k. The investment is such a good time for the promotion but the production team says nah lol. The posters also got criticized for having that elderly rustic style, in short it's not attractive to pique the interest of passersby.

From what I've read for the SML of The Unclouded Soul, he have his own love interest and will not compete with Hong Ye, what a relief lmao. That's what I know for the SML for now, I haven't done any snooping for info again.

Leaving a mark to the audience is not a matter of how much screentime but Hong Ye does not have that much screentime in The Unclouded Soul. Regardless of that, he will be able to make that work like how he did in Fangs of Fortune. One thing I'm glad about The Unclouded Soul is that the FL does everything for Hong Ye. So hopefully not a repeat to Wen Xiao, who gives ambiguous signal to Zhao Yuan Zhou who was supposed to be his lover lmao.

I also saw some reactions from those who read the script in xhs and someone said it's not that good and it's childish and another suggested that it's best not to overly praise to avoid ridicule. Could have been trolls and just haters jealous for their own faves. Whether if it's true or not, we shall see. Also cnetz are tired with the typical three lives setting and The Unclouded Soul has that. Hopefully it will work out just fine.
