In fact, it's been said many times from people inside the industry beside Yu Zheng that he can pass it alone. I like to share about LITC , the drama originally doesn't have a platform, the production crew willingly waited for him for half a year to be available. He rejected it at first but in the end he accepted it causing a shock to the kiwi fan circle back then. To those curious, he rejected it for "ιι₯". Tbh, I understand him as this is the famous director Xu Ji Zhou of "The Knockout" who took 2023 cdramaland by storm.
After he's announced as the male lead of LITC, the platform Youku immediately bought the rights to broadcast! It all happened so fast that kiwis don't even have time to react that time!
And I know many kiwis want him to pair with traffic actresses like what his other 95 gen actors do to accumulate popularity but we should be proud of him that he is recognized in the industry and his name alone can guarantee that a project will proceed! As y'all know, he never cooperated with traffic flowers to give "credit" to his popularity and his haters can't argue and discredit him by bringing the "used and rode the traffic flowers' coattails" card. His fame now is due to his hard work and perseverance alone. We kiwis should be proud of him.
