I thought the wife of the leader of the sect deceived the senior brother to take the clearing pill to reveal the scheme but then later after the senior brother was exposed by that pill, the leader of the sect delivered the pill to the wife intact. It's unclear to me if the senior brother pretended to take that pill and instead revealed himself in the name of love or the leader of the sect made another new clearing pill for his wife to reminisce. All those angsty vibe they are both giving in the grave and not one explanation to clarify lol 😂. Maybe the novel was detailed about this but I haven't read that.
