This is starting to feel performative. If y'all check other pages with the same issues, the reaction is nowhere near this loud, nothing like the pile on in this drama's comment section. You don't see the same accounts that are yapping endlessly here in those drama pages. The inconsistency is hard to ignore as these accounts don’t bother to bring the same energy to other shows with similar issues. This really makes the reaction here feel selective rather than principled.
And when people only show up when it’s a drama with a popular cast especially the ML, it’s fair to question how consistent their stance really is. You can't blame fans for thinking they have hidden agendas and to wonder if there’s more driving this than just the issue itself.

I tend to focus more on the lyrics, because a lot of those traditional-style songs have very memorable melodies. But when it comes to Yang Wujian, I think the lyrics of ‘Lonely Warrior’ match him the best. Yeah, in my mind, he’s that kind of figure, a lone hero.”
Q: “Could you give us a little treat and sing a few lines?”
Hmh: “No, no, no, no, no. It’s Eason Chan laoshi’s song, I’ll just admire quietly from afar. Other songs are fine though. When we have OSTs later, this program will definitely have more promotional events. There will definitely be more opportunities, right? We must have other interviews, I’ll sing it then if that’s okay. I’ll stick a flag (make a promise), when our OSTs come out, I’ll sing a whole song for you. Q: “Then could you share a bit about your cosplay experience this time?”
Hmh: “Sure. For me, I didn’t really treat it as cosplay. Of course, professionally speaking, it’s called being a coser, but in the end, the goal is to present a living, breathing character to the audience, not just a two-dimensional image. Since it becomes three-dimensional, one aspect is matching the physical appearance and the other is understanding the character’s setup.
This character is a ‘Wolf King’ in the game. His identity and role matter a lot. I also thought about what kind of voice I should use for his lines, and how to shape his expressions and gaze. At his core, he wants to protect his homeland. He’s a bit like a lone hero too, leading a group, fighting against enemies, carrying that kind of presence and responsibility.”
Q: “If you were to speak in #YangWujian’s voice and prepare a ‘reverse support’ sign for fans who love him, what would you write?”
#HouMinghao: “So if everyone is complimenting me, how should I respond, right? Okay. Then I’d say, thank you all for loving Yang Wujian… and I’ll treat you to candied hawthorns!”
Q: “Is there anything you’d like to say to viewers who are looking forward to #Immortalis?”
Hmh: “First of all, it’s a suspense drama. It features a wide range of rich settings, props, and characters, constantly delivering strong visual and auditory impact and a fresh experience. But beyond the suspense, there’s also a lot of emotional depth between the characters. For example, the bond of friendship within our trio, and how we grow together. Each character becomes more layered and fully developed as the story progresses. The three of us evolve from caring about small, personal affections to embracing a greater love for the world. It’s a suspense story with real heart and humanity. I really hope everyone will support it.”
