i'm curious how's the romance like, like what's the role of FL?

Hi, can someone tell me how the season one ending leads to season 2?(haven't watch it at all)The ending i saw in season 1 is that the male lead time travel to modern day, and ended as cliffhanger. But the sypnosis of this season 2 doesnt seem to be modern period...is its still historical? Can someone spoil to me how this season 2 starts?

Because she is awesome. I'm not sure why but haha i like her a lot, the characters she play is cute, funny, yet not cringey like many others. I don't know how to say, but she gives a warm/bubbly feeling with her acting, maybe a very genuine feeling? I can't think of any other young actresses that's like her... I think is just me being bias but uwu she is cute af and her personality seems decent. So why not her XD
