i lowkey want the lead actress to be Jing Tian or Wu Jiayi. hear me out, i watched most of the dramas with Jing Tian & Wu Jiayi in it, i gotta say these 2 actress have is the best at acting with their eyes. their "gaze game" they know how to do it well on top of their already tip top acting acting skills. the reason why i kinda want these 2 to become TJR's partner is because TJR is also very good at expressing with his eyes. just those gaze alone you know what kind of emotion he's potraying.

he is a very talented actor for sure. no one ever mention him prior to his debut in MJTY. he earned his success. you can see how much he embody his character. it's a plus that GJM director really have a soft spot for him. MJTY, Fangs of Fortune and the rumored Removing Armor are all dramas by GJM. i really enjoy his acting.

C'mon... she just recently made a comeback after a long hiatus for her marriage, the birth of her daughter and her divorce. Give her some time

It seems like Tencent also want to air the drama quickly before the FL formally banned and rely on LYN current popularity to gain success for the show. Regardless, i really hope they air it asap. This drama seems too good for it to get shelf.

It seems like this director doesn't like to hire extremely expensive A-list actors. He seems like he'd prefer saving the budget on the cast and spend more on cinematography. Those are just my theories. But i gotta say though, he do have an eye for new talents

ikr. i've been watching her channel for a very long time and it was a very rare sight of her on her full on fangirl mode. i decided to watch the drama when they finish airing.

No. He doesn't. He does looks like he was going to turn his back against ML but he did that to protect the ML from Baili Queen. He even fake his amnesia to protect the ML after he woke up from coma. Watch until the end, the eldest prince actually the one who stand by ML side to protect the ML. He's always the one who stays behind and backing up the ML whenever the ML encountered unexpected trouble. He truly love the ML.

ML's elder brother and younger brother share the same mother, which is the Baili queen. ML's elder brother suffered from epilepsy since he was very young causing his birth mother to abandon him in fear that the king know about his eldest son's sickness. She thought the eldest prince was possessed by demon. The eldest prince's birth mother went as far as preventing him to see her when she was pregnant with the third prince because she doesn't want her unborn child at the moment to get "possessed" like the eldest prince. The eldest prince ended up being raised by Yi Ge queen which is the ML's birth mother who was also the queen at the time. Yi Ge queen raised the eldest prince like her own son hence why the eldest prince adore the ML so much.

SQY is the ML but honestly, i barely see him on screen for the first half of the drama. His character is very interesting and LHY portrayed that really well. For the FL though, i really think the screenwriter should stop making the FL character so dumb and naive. Like SQY said, she believe her supposed "fate" than her own judgement. The voice dubbing for ZLS is so terrible that i can't even focus on the drama. Chinese dramaland should really stop using voice dubbing, it was very annoying. Another thing that annoyed me is Xiao Bai. The actor who acted XB have a really stoic face that you can't even buy what this actor is trying to portray. XB and his "justice" is just too time consuming it make me skip the drama a lot. When he destroyed the fake longevity nut, i thought the "justice" end there and his character will get lesser screen time but i was wrong. XB character even went hard on his "justice" mindset to kill QY. For what tho? CH was the one who willingly go with QY. It doesn't make sense. We all know QY is very cunning and manipulative, i was kinda understand why he become that way due to his childhood upbringing but i don't really understand xiao bai's. I feel like this whole enemy thing began from Xiao Ming betrayed Nan Xing He. Things get even worse when Xiao Bai's father betrayed QY's mother. Even Xiao bai didn't acknowledge the betrayal. Ngl, these Feng Ming manor leaders really sounds like hypocrite when they keep talking about justice and their martial arts but betraying people here and there. There's so much thing that annoyed me in this drama. I don't even know how i manage to finish it.

Zhao Yu and Su Zui love story literally make me forget the main lead. I wish they have their own spin off drama

not gonna lie, Mu Qing and Li Ruosheng character have more chemistry than Mu Qing with Ou Ke Xin

Wait, did they change the female lead. I like JJY as a person but an actress? Idk. I watched few of the drama and i feel like she's focusing more on her idol image than the character itself. Her styling at rebirth for you and the bloom at ruyi pavilion was literally the same. Her styling in love under the full moon doesn't even make sense. Why? The character's background wasn't even well off yet she dressed up in designer outfits from head to toe. Even her jewelleries. It's understandable that her team wanted to use her visual to sell the drama but too much of it could ruin the logic of the drama.

idk, i've seen some other wuxia/xianxia drama that was aired in 2018 and they have much better CGI that AOL. idk, maybe this drama is not exactly my cup of tea

omg. i feel you. i watched a lot of wuxia/xian xia dramas but honestly AOL have one of the worst post production editing. the story line is really good, i'm not gonna lie but the only thing that throw me off is the CGI. if u can ignore the CGI, it's a wonderful drama. well except for the first 10-20 episodes. the FL character was a bit childish but it's understandable as you keep watching. Her character did improve throughout the drama. if u want a drama with a beautiful storyline and flawless CGI, i'll recomment Ancient Love Poetry. Hands down to the most beautiful costume and CGI in Wuxia/Xian Xia drama ever.
