I agree with you that the FL is smart and capable business woman. She is a hostage princess for 10 years. Instead of staying in the palace, she decided to run her own entertainment business ( The Zhen Tower). It is like a hotel in Las Vegas. It comes with a restaurant, sports betting and gambling, music and dancing show, story telling and comedy show. She is rich.

She is way ahead of her time and very advanced. She has her own revenge story just like ZH. Next episode, we will learn more about her and why she is also after the Gui Seal.

ZH is young and inexperience going into the Lion's den ( capital city ). He relies on his master GM to provide him most of the information (intel).

Even his master GM don't have the most important information, that the hostage princess is An Tu. Master GM could have warn ZH before getting close to her.

The Emperor gave her the Zhen Tower is a secret deal between An Tu and the Emperor. I know in one of the early episode An Tu mentioned it to Mr. 8. Mr. 8 is someone An Tu can trust to keep it a secret.

ZH is so consumed by the revenge for his family. He can not think straight could be because he just suffered from an injury.

That is the problem, he did not recognized her voice. Zang Hai believes that An Tu is the owner of Zhen Tower so there is no way she can be the hostage princess.

He did not even think that An Tu has another identity.

I watched the full episode. ZH is not aware that the hostage princess is An tu. In ZH mind, the hostage princess age is someone who is a lot older. Even though his master explained to him that the hostage princess was 10 yrs. old when ZH family were massacred.

Did you see ZH face reaction on episode 24 when he took the cloth cover from An Tu face ?

I watched episode 23. Zang Hai is not aware that An Tu and the hostage princess is the same person. I said love is blind because ZH can not tell from the voice alone that it was An Tu. Are we watching the same drama ?

Zang Hai was just shocked to see An Tu and did not expect her to be the princess who has been talking to Eunuch Cao about the Gui Seal. Love is blind. There is a big miscommunication between them. I don't think Zang Hai is blaming her for the massacre of his family just like you said. She is just 10 years old. ZH is taking her back to his place so he can interrogate her.

The screen writers did a great job to keep viewers from guessing who the 3rd person that has the fish and the Gui seal. Until now, we still don't know who is the person behind the mask.

Did you really watch episode 7 ? It is one of the best episode. Can you tell me what is on Episode 7 then.

An Tu has a chance to move in into Zang Hai house. There are plenty of rooms in his mansion. Zang Hai has offered his house and land title in exchange for the precious coin. An Tu can see him everyday without waiting for him to show up in the Zhen Tower. 🤣

Hailin trying to kill XZ career while Eunuch Cao wants to kill Zang Hai physically by using his foster sons.

Hailin remind me of Eunuch Cao in this drama.

I counted it. He has 8 pack abs. Tsui Hark missed the opportunity to show it in LOCH.

Master Gao Ming is a good guy. Xiao Zhan was interviewed who is his favorite master during a fan meeting ? He said Master Gao Ming. He is like his parents in the drama ( acting both as his Mom and Dad ).

Well fed indeed.

A very good quality and well made drama about revenge, thriller, mystery and politics can get a rating of 9 in MDL ( ex. NIF ). Same with good quality slow burn romance drama that can also get 9 rating in MDL.

Combining both elements, we may get higher than 9 in MDL.

I want to see both of them working together for Zang Hai revenge. She is an important asset for the ML. With her fighting skill, she will be protecting him along the way.

If we can have both elements, the revenge and the romance . It will be sweet and perfect.

I know some viewers preferred that he only focus on revenge. Adding romance will be an icing on the cake. I want Happy Ending.

I saw it that the filming has started on spying. This year has been very busy for XFX. It started with his album released, LOCH movie and now Legend of Zang Hai. It is time to add more dramas and movies into his inventory list again.

Viewers need to have a high IQ in order to understand and appreciate this drama.
