Actors make more money from TV commercial and endorsement in Asia. Just like in South Korea, the TV actors make a lot of money from endorsements. Xiao Zhan is worth $800 Million RMB from all his endorsements and dramas. In US, more and more movie actors are doing TV commercial. Extra income for them.

It has a total average rating of 1.288 % with 50 Billion views from Dragon TV/ Zhejiang TV. It has 58 episodes. You can watch the TV series from TV or streaming using computers or phones.

I remember watching Douluo Continent by using a special app. from CCTV with my computer last year. I think Hunan TV can also do streaming which can help increase the viewership. You don't have to rely on TV set alone.

The population in China is 1.39 Billion. 200 million views per episode is possible. One of the youtuber explain that the TV rating for OOL is equal to 200 to 400 millions per episode.
