This is a Wuxia (historical fantasy) movie with Martial Arts element and not to be confuse with Kung Fu martial arts movie( Martial Art Masters like Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Wu Jing and Vincent Zhao ). Two different genre. When I watch Marvel and DC movies, I don't expect all the actors and actress to be an expert in martial arts since they are fantasy movies.
Xiao Zhan does all his wire fighting scene. Even the extra and other actors body double said he works the hardest since he will be in a wiring hanging up all day long without any complain. He can endures all the pain even better than a professional stuntman or a martial artist. Jackie Chan team and his studio is behind all the fighting scene choreography.

There are so much more that Zhinu/Zang Hai did but it is better for the viewers to watch the drama.

As for this drama, he has to learn how to use the morse code generator for 3 months to show he is an expert.
