I agree with your opinion on jdramas and I've only watch few as well ^^
I like to watch different dramas in the same time, that way I'm not so bored with one story.

I don;t know why that is, I just cannot make myself watch them... something is missing.
I read the synopsis so I'm aware that Stairway to heaven will be a tearjerker ^^ chill

I've checked your top 5 dramas, and man they are loong O.O I've never watched drama with more then 20 something episodes... there were some exceptions ofc :)Stairway to Heaven caught my interest ^^ so I will try this.

Starlit it's a tdrama wow... no, tdrama aren't my cup of tea. I've tried several different ones, and couldn't pass the concept,style of acting and language... for some reason it bothers me T.T

I usually drop tdramas in the middle, although I watched Skip Beat till the end- this drama was hilarious and I really liked the cast, even language did not spoiled the story. I have one tdrama I like - Miss Rose. It's currently airing ^^

Scent of a woman is a drama about cancer so it's not cheerful and yet it's in my top 5. And I loved it!

I like touching and moving dramas, but it has to be balanced with some normal a bit happy scenes. Life sucks as it is so I don't like to make myself sad without good reason. I cried and couldn't sleep after watching The Crucible, if you know the story you will understand. It's really dramatic and cruel, and overall it's a true story.

For example Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do - was too melodrama for me, it was a little stupid also -.- but still I loved little Jang in it ^^ he's so adorable!

Your welcome ^^ As for some new recommendation you can try "cyborg she" it's jmovie, it's a little strange but it's sweet and actually pretty unpredictable.
It's a story about an ordinary college boy who meets a strange girl on his birthday and after that all crazy stuff happens. It's a love story with some action scenes ^^ I've give it 9/10 so if you have time try it ^^

As you see my top 5 dramas, could you recommend one? ^^ I have so many dramas on my plate >.< something not too melodrama not not too cheesy ^^
I did not know that, wow that's very good, in Poland we usually need to learn 2 languages. I don't remember anything from German and I've learn it when I was a teenager. I've tried French on University but also it did not stayed T.T

Oh so true Bridal Mask was most discussed drama for me. After watching every single episode I needed to express my feelings on MDL ^^ I fell in love with Joo Won Oppa because of that drama!
I wish I could met Jung II Woo Oppa someday too. ^^
