It doesn’t look like he knows. In episode 7, after BJs father said to really look at her, did he start to actually look. He saw the room she works in with the dust covering the screen, and also observes the calendar and what looks like the current years calendar unopened underneath. Before this though he’s definitely made comments about her ‘cushy job’ so I imagine he too had no idea and I think that’s why he asked his mother about her job when she called because he never noticed anything before.

It’s going to break my heart if something happens to the father. The scenes of him getting lost/forgetting his cart, sitting outside his door until he remembers his code, and the notes he leaves himself already get me

I definitely only found out about this drama because im a fan of RJY and his looks

How was the book? I’ve been tempted to buy it after seeing this

Absolutely.

I really liked that she avoided the topic of BJ’s job on the phone call and didn’t just tell him everything too

The first ten or so (?) episodes gave an entirely different feel from the rest of the drama and I was so disappointed that it didn’t continue with the quality of the first few episodes

I STILL think about it and how much I cried at that ending

They’re definitely going to end the episode with that scene too and make us wait a full week

I still see it (I’m in the US)

And to add on to that, she doesn’t even sleep in the same room as her husband. It makes it that much more intimate

Exactly! It takes a certain level of comfort to actually fall asleep when you’re in the presence of someone you don’t really know, especially when it’s an unfamiliar place and closed off from other people. It’s such a vulnerable position to be in

Her interactions with her husband make me wonder too if she knew he was meeting up with his ex

Or even someone else from Akira who knows she’s the VIP client

Ugh but the editing on that scene pissed me off since it still showed the corn in her hand/up at her face afterwards

I’m the opposite, I watch Lost first and then this. I need happy after that show

This is exactly how I feel. I didn’t know I needed this type of show but it definitely hits different and I find myself drawn to it.
