I gotta say that the colors in the filming in this drama are unique and outstanding and so beautiful. The are vibrant but blend so well. I think it's masterful to pull off such bright colors without being tacky. It's like watching a painting come to life.

Yeah, I agree. There are quite a few Season 2 that I love. Alchemy of Souls, Arthdal Chronicles, I Need Romance Season 3, Joy of Life Season 2, Kingdom Season 2, The Uncanny Counter Season 2. Just a few.

I didn't hate it. Just didn't love it. You just can't beat those characters they are legendary and the acting is the best there is but the writing was pretty bad. That's all.

Kim Nam Gil looks as a woman 😂 Cracked me up in Season 1! But I agree that the comedy was forced and even foolish in this season. The first season had me rolling on the floor in laughter. I'm just not into slapstick.

You should watch it. The cinematography alone is spectacular and the story is unique.

I'm so glad Ahn Chang Hwan is going to be in Season 2. He was my favorite character! I crack up just thinking about him as Ssongsak 😂😂

Thank you! I loved this article. Also, I didn't know that "Pee Mak (2013)" was based on a folk tale. I crack up whenever I watch that movie. 😅And I'm not a big fan of Thai drama because I can't follow the subtitles easily, but Pee Mak is definitely a favorite.

I agree. I thought he was incredible. He drew me into the character. Someone who had the strength to fight the odds of his past and be so gentle and kind to his fellow crew. But also explosive justifiably. What a dynamic. Of course, I grew up with mobsters (Italian ones) , so I especially related to the love/hate/family/loyalty thing. 😁

I agree that this is the worst story ever. Just when it starts to get interesting, the ridiculousness of the kingdom coming down because of these 2 evil people's relationship, makes me want to throw up. But now I'm committed to see how much worse the story can get and be tortured. Am I an idiot? No, I just dropped this drama. I don't care if they all just disappear from my life. Amen

There's a lot of stupid stuff in this drama. I'm not liking it very much. It kills me that the premise that all this killing and destruction to the throne and country is over 2 people who want to hide being old lovers. I think it's ridiculous.

I looked this up on DramaCool, and only 1-5 are subbed in English so far. 6-7 are released but they are not subbed yet. Could be why Netflix is confusing.
