For me, it was solid the first couple of episodes but starting to get really dull with the story and dialogue. IMO this show is not 8.7, but again just my take

Just my opinion, i dont think this is as good as Bad Buddy. The shows is getting a bit boring for me and repetitive some what. To each their own tho :)

Not all mafia based shows are like that. Plus, the trailer set the stage on how the show was going to be. You should have not even watched it in the first place. You’re trying to morph it into something that its not. Also don't act like you are some sort of work class reviewer. Coming off as very arrogant and egotistical. If you dont like it because of false expectations you set, then so be it. Im def going to watch this series and see where it goes with an open mind.

I really wonder how some people on kisskh minds work. You know the premise of the series. Its a MAFIA based BL series and you say “ gangster cliches, alpha male swaggering, silly car chases, and fake judo fight scenes.” It really blows my mind. These are the type of reviews people shouldnt read and stay away from.

Since joining kisskh, i have cone to find peoples ratings to be extremely weird. I wouldnt worry about other people. If you enjoy it, enjoy it and leave a good, unbais rating/review at the end. I never do ep reviews. I will update the stars on series but the actual review i always save till the end

Yeah. Same. I was a little frustrated not seeing more of their story in the last 2 episodes. After seeing them BARELY in ep 7, I thought we would get a lot more of them in ep 8. That’s usually how it goes but nope. Kinda disappointed.

I hear ya. Again, I disagree about the plot. Its very entertaining for me but again, we can agree to disagree. I respect your opinion. Also, I totally see your expectation because of past shows from GMMTV but this show, so far, has broken the string. Hope it holds.

The series i found interesting was Vise Versa, You Are My Favorite, the Eclipse and Moonlight Chicken. The series i have high expectations for, from what i have seen from the trailer, is Never Let Me Go. The ones that i have little interest in, like you, is Star and Sky and My Class President. If Star and sky was centered on the first couple, then I probably be more interested but what they showed off with that second story really turned me off

I totally get your point about original screen plays instead of novels. For me, as long as its executed right then I dont mind. Correct me if im wrong, some of the new bls they showed are original?? But again, thats just my take and my opinion :)

I do agree GMMTV bl shows are pretty hit and miss but overall I think they are at least a decent watch. Now, Bad Buddy is a line where we can agree to disagree. I don’t think it’s the only saving grace. I think the script is pretty damn good, plot is very entertaining so far (even with good acting, if plot isn’t entertaining, it wouldn’t be good to watch), as you said the direction is great. It’s one of my top bl’s so far and of course that could change since it’s only almost half way through. It might be my fav bl of 2021. It really takes your feeling through a roller coaster plus I like it’s humor. And from the trailers GMMTV showed for 2022 there were a few that looked REALLY good and a few that looked very interesting that has potential to be good. But hey, we all have different opinions :)

I pretty much agree with what you said. Bank was what kept me watching. He is so fucking fine. The second half of the show was so rushed especially the last episode which was its major down fall. The more the show went on, the more the story deteriorated. Great review!

I do disagree with some things that you said, for one the staring between the leads, it hit differently. I think the progression with the characters was smooth and on point. Imo it felt natural the way they did it but having said that, I get what you are saying. There have been other bl’s that did something similar but I got so annoyed but with this series, the way they did everything, like I said, it felt natural. I’d get butterflies in my stomach like the feeling of a person I would like. There are other things I disagree but having said that I respect your opinion like the other user said. Not everyone is going to like a series that others like. One thing I love is honesty. Thank you for your honest review. :) ❤️

There are series where we just dont like a main character and sometimes its almost through the whole season. When you see this, there is always a reasoning and in the end its usually saving the character in which we will love. Having said that, I'm actually really enjoying the series. It doesnt take itself serious as we know that this is supposed to be a comedic show of sort but still at times bring the show back to earth. It always gives me a great laugh when i watch it. Its a nice break from series bl dramas

its like that with some series. Learning as much about characters as possible and character development. Looks like you'll get your wish the status next week as we saw in the previews.

Ive scrolled through some comments before but didn’t see anything that was comparing bl to Hollywood but having said that, that is just plain dumb lol. now if we are talking about asian movies that are big budget like Hollywood, then I guess I could see it even if this is a Asian show site. I mean look at Parasite, it won Oscars here in America even though it’s a Korean movie, which is awesome :)
