Also the Netflix translation sucks, it's not the first time though, it's been happening for years now. Disney+ is also the same, there were many translation errors for the drama Moving. With being billion dollars companies hope they hire some actual good translators and pay them well.
The director did a really good job even with not so good writing by the writer. She is really talented and knows how to keep audience invested. Crowned Clown, Vincenzo, Little Women, all these will tell you how good she is, even if the writing is so-so she makes the drama looks good. She was one of the reasons for me to watch this drama. If you have seen behind the scenes of any of these drama mentioned above the you will know how fun and open she is.
With everyone including myself praising the actors constantly I thought the director also deserves some credit for this drama being captivating even if the writing fell apart for a certain time. Looking forward to her next projects and hoping to have more cameos from her previous dramas in it.
Wow. Last episode was amazing. Loved every part of it. First quarter had angst but after that it's just romcom and sweet moments. Can't believe I am loving Grace so much and DH as well. I knew the end of the bad guys will be cruel as the director loves doing that stuff. Honestly I am one of those people who didn't liked episode 10-15 that much but this episode made everything worth it. HI being so funny with HW and their family being wholesome was delightful to watch. I definitely have many complaints about this drama like giving DH and SC less screentime because the actors are really good or few things are remained unanswered like the main motivation of SH to ruin Hong family. All these aside the final is really well paced and done.
Really glad with the ratings of last episode also in viewership wise this has 6.399 which is second highest for a paid channel. Don't know about international data but I think it was doing good or even better.
The ending was extremely satisfying and it was actually a very happy ending if you take everything humane into account. They addressed the main couple issues, their fears and all. The also addressed that communication is the key for a good and happy relationship by giving HW's sister's example. Grace and DH redeeming themselves was so good to watch especially Grace, she actually played extremely important role in taking the bad guys down and also making things happen between the leads.
So overall it's not a perfect drama, there are many things missing, some plots are unnecessary but the first ten episode and this last one makes everything worth it. It's not a romcom, it has it's few elements but it's mostly a melo with slice of life type. The actors are awesome, I will have to praise PSH specially as even with not that good character he made the bad guy hated by us. His acting is as good as the main leads.
Finally, I really love KJW now, I have watched her before in other dramas but here she shone very much, she looks really beautiful as well as hot. Wish to see more of her in good dramas.
The way I want to give this series a chance so badly because it's supposedly about to break Crash Landing On You's…
Even if you like the acting there are certain plots that you may find repulsive and may be frustrating to watch. Also this my break the record of CLOY in terms of ratings but if the viewers are counted then CLOY had 6+million (6.337)viewers in South Korea which is the second highest for a paid tv channel. So don't go just because of the rating or the hype, you have already watched five episodes, if you are not feeling it then don't watch it.
guys is this show worth the hype and 8.9 rating? looking for a new drama to start hehe
I loved first 7-8 episodes after that it's Okish for me, draggy and sort of repetitive and way too much angst. So for me it's definitely not a 8.9 drama but majority of people here think that it is so maybe it's just me who didn't got/understood/felt the drama ig.
Season 1 was so good. Why Krystal not in the cast? She was their little sister and her chemistry with the guys was so good. Hopefully this season is also enjoyable as the previous one.
Does anyone feels really bad for Soo Cheol? Like his whole marriage was a sham, while he loves his wife dearly and there she was banging some dude, the got pregnent with that dude's baby and made her husband believe it's his. Even after doing all these she took all his family money and valuable and even took "his" son. The she returns when her ex started being abusive and this pathetic idiot just accepted her and that kid. I mean dude she cucked you, that baby is not even yours and literally robbed you yet you still wants her around because of "love". Damn that writer really made him the most pathetic character even more that ES, atleast ES know how HI feels even though he is a terrible person for not backing off. Really wish the writer gives some balls to SC and some bad karma to DH.
Should I watch the end of ep 13? I dont feel so good about how it is going.... I got a bad feeling... ahh...
Honestly it's a filler episode and the writer is just making stuff up to stretch the drama. I think you should wait for all the episodes to be aired, get an idea how last 3-4 episodes are and then decide if you wanna watch.
I have a feeling it will have a sad ending. CLOY was supposed to have a sad ending also (they were never meant…
I don't know if CLOY was supposed to have sad ending but it definitely feels like the FL would die. I mean her condition is getting worse everyday and they are not showing any signs of miracle.
