read an interesting tweet; the viewers hate/find joori annoying because some of us see ourselves in her. humans are inherently hypocritical, we do things that'll benefit us and we're mostly 'us' first. i think it's an interesting take tbh
the only negative thing that i have observed is that they've reduced/stopped those beautiful transitions from the first three episodes. BRING BACK THE GOD TIER TRANSITIONS!!!!!!
The problem is not with her disorder. Personally, my favourite characters are the grey ones as they r more relatable…
i personally don't think it's being romanticized not normalized. the publisher goes a great extent to bribe people just so they don't speak up about her behavior. and i vaguely remember kang tae mentioning that she isn't normal in the second episode. and like i keep mentioning, it's just in it's 3 episode, there's so much that could still happen. different strokes anyways.
I dont think so, it is in the description but one thing is written than playing it maybe that's the difference....
but to my basic understanding, the character has been properly portrayed. at least that is what people with wider knowledge on the topic seem to think.
and did i just peep someone use tv ratings as a reason for why one show is superior to the other? some of the best kdramas i've seen didn't even exceed a 10% rating lol. my mister is a prime example.
plus the show is three episodes in, calm your horses folks.
Good start, but I have an ominous feeling that the story is going to go downhill after episode 8. The romance…
i don't think the romance will be the focal point later on. he's working at a psychiatric hospital now, maybe they'll shift focus between the mental illness stuff. plus they have more time to explore the female lead's disorder and her obsession with kang tae. fingers crossed.
hopefully moon young's obsession is properly addressed. obsession is sometimes a bad thing, and i hope they don't take it lightly for the sake of romance.
plus the show is three episodes in, calm your horses folks.
