This series felt very-very slow for me. I wanted to stop at the first part since I was not enjoying it, but then decided to give a second part a go hoping that it would become better. It did not. I could not connect with the FL, I found her quite unlikeable from the get go. I could not get her motivations as well, so her conflict with ML was farfetched for me. I guess I am not "lets die together" type, more of "lets separate for a while to survive and unite again later" type. I also did not like the emperor. He was funny, yes, but he was a horrible man. I dislike him for how he was treating the empress. He did not have to love her, but he should have shown her some respect. But even on her birthday he happily chatted with his concubine and did not have a moment to talk to her! That turn me off so much that now the only thing I remember about him is this.

yes, I am also not so happy about it. but i understood that in short term it can feel HE but long term there will be political issues and intrigues, there will be pressure for political marriages and so on, so long term wise their choice it better. i imagine that they are free as bird and in a while they may decide to return to Yao. I am sure the emperor will be glad to give his brother his title back as soon as he asks for it

The only thing I did not understand is why FL left him in Yao? Why didn't she want to stay with him? She kind of guessed that he remembered her, so what stopped her? Apart from this I really loved it. I am glad that at the end AoDeng is carefree again 😍

I loved her very first drunk scene. The way he was standing behind her and looking at her, he was so tender and loving 😍

He is much better here. Being a general in that drama he has not much opportunities to showcase his acting skills. Somehow generals are always reserved and stoic in dramas. But here we can see him in full glory.

What do you think will happen in ep 37? It has this weird sign similar to the stone from the beginning. Will it be inserted in JinAn again? Will he loose his memory again? It would be crazy 😧

Yes, you could already see at the end of ep 30 that he has many concerns on his mind. 😭 Our carefree JinAn is gone

I like him too so much. I hope in the end he will still keep some traits of JinAn 😭
