yep I got that feeling too...korean writers have this amazing skill of sometimes messing up incredible plots (they sometimes execute amazingly too ...sometimes...but then this sometimes is less)

i think the heavy exaggeration is what makes it so funny (it's sorta like the entire point), if it was more 'normal' , it would just be another drama. Well everyone has different tastes?

Yes there is romance ...although it's a totally different, you can't really classify

All said, this is more of a filler drama. You don't drop it , but it doesn't exactly have you on your toes for the next episode maybe because of a repetitive storyline, or the slowness, or whatever may be the reason. It might be light enough to get you too smile , but not your adrenaline running or hormones for that matter.
