I have had this DLed for months and can't get past the first 15-20 minutes. I have tried several times and consider myself usually really open to genres and stories that aren't my thing?? I don't know. I wanted to see Irene but uh... maybe I will just drop it entirely lmao
True... a lot of times when I looked up the works of Japanese actors, I saw many of them have acted in at least…
Takeru Sato and Fukushi Sota are huge in the genre and talk a lot about how they owe their position in the industry now to Rider!! It's usually referred to as the gateway to bigger and better things but as a lover of tokusatsu myself, they are what make the genre worth checking out! A lot of talent and love go into the works!
I haven't finished the second season, but I got spoiled on the ending so I thought I would express relief that Jojo doesn't end up with Sun-Oh. I liked a few things about this drama, so I want to talk about those instead of adding to the negativity here. Aside from the fact that at school age, people don't typically have big GRAND reasons for being with who they are with, I thought it was sensible that she chose Hye-Young later as an adult. He never said things like "love me back." He said "I will think about what else I can do to make you happy." It was that maturity in contrast with Sun-Oh's lack of it that made me really think he was the better choice. The hate on Jojo seems like typical FL hate. She was struggling so much to keep her composure and not drag Sun-Oh down with her. Do I think they wrote her very well? Nah, but if I knew anyone like her in real life, I would feel nothing but admiration for her. Yeah she accidently hurt Sun-Oh more than she meant to, but again.. Kids do that. Thinking back to how attached he became of her right off the bat, knowing the friend he cherished loved her FIRST, made it hard to root for him in the end. Anyway, I'm not great at wording all my thoughts, but this show did have some little pieces of it that made me really enjoy it.
Honestly wasn't too impressed by the standard time travel to save a loved one premise but I really do like the idea of the memories she didn't actually live through filling in after she comes back to the present. That's actually unique. Also Yeri definitely has potential to grow as an actress. So proud of her!
I finished this in one night, went to bed laughing/mad, woke up at 6am and ranted an abridged version of this show to my bf and he's convinced the show isn't real because it seems so ridiculous out loud, so there's that. Good? No. Entertaining? ..Sure.
This rating system is so annoying. It’s making it so inaccurate. Now some really good dramas are rated wayyy…
Ah, it is kinda weird you would let total strangers dictate what entertainment you consume and enjoy/not enjoy. You can just watch shows and form opinions for yourself, you know. The rating in the end isn't that big of a deal. Being paranoid about fake accounts making ratings for shows that you think aren't accurate is... a bit much, imo.
KAMEN RIDER

begone tbh
i'm guessing people like it though
it is in fact, weird to see people skipping parts of shows
you literally don't know what's important or not if you haven't seen it
