Xiao Zhou father really get on my nerve. I feel bad for his wife having to care for the disable son by herself and then tried to mourn her daughter in her own way.
Not sure if remake is necessary because the JP version is already perfect to me although the young ML ruined it with his scandal. PMY have a big shoes to fill imo because Masami Nagasawa is really great in the JP version.
Ep 7 - I know she the FL but it doesnt make sense she handle the wife killer case since she know the accuser and she hates her ...like conflict of interest much?
My 1st time watching short format series after reading comment here with how gory it is and actually its quite good. It def film with low budget and sometimes it show but the story moving with quick pace. In term of acting FL really carried this series and wow she really look badass here. ML also do a good job but his sad scene is terrible(sorry) imo. Why they dont make more Chinese Republican era series like this? Not just spy Communist type of drama.
Good series although too many eps but last few eps really dragging this series down imo. I dont like how they wrapped up some character in this series esp my fav character Ping An unnecessary death or Amita disappearance after halfway series.
Look like it doesnt live up to its reputation with all star actor in this movie. Not for the acting performance but the story itself. Hmmm such a shame for ZZY comeback project.
