A tip for new watchers: when I first watched it I was unaware of any actor other than KuboMasa and Yamada Yuki. It's such a big cast that I had trouble remembering names. I had a tab open for this page (https://asianwiki.com/High_%26_Low_The_Movie) so I could match names to faces to help me get through season 1.
And yes H&L is a LDH multimedia project. Other than drama/movies there's also the music, concerts, video games and some other stuff.
