A complete snoozefest. I find myself nodding off. So I just skipped a lot of scenes until I got to the end. There's so much unnecessary drama. It dragged on too long.
I'm having a hard time with the FL casting. She's supposed to be this unattractive lady, but no matter how they downplay Landy Li's wardrobe, hair, and make up, she still looks attractive. It keeps taking me out of out story.
Mysterious Love, My Lethal Man, Love of Replica, Your Trap, Maid's Revenge, Lost and Found, Forever Love (mystery), Circle of Love, Timeless Love, Plot Love, Dusk Love, Decreed by Fate, Ready for Love?, Love By Hypnotic (first costume c drama I've watched where the FL is aware of her sexuality and revels in it, actually, she can't stop talking about sex).
They dragged this out. Could have been fewer episodes. Exposition done with too much dialogue. But I do appreciate that the opening and ending credits didn't have a lot of spoilers, especially since Viki had no option to skip credits.
Took me a while to finish this and I should have just skipped everything in the middle. I had high expectations for this, but this drama really fell short. The actors tried their best, but the writing's pretty bad.
It's a popular drama! I can confirm it to you with the millions of views on tiktok edits!
According to VLinkage, My Boss is currently the number 1 web drama garnering 538 points based on view counts, social media discussions, and Baidu searches from Jan 14 to 20. Chen Xing Xu's other drama, Our Interpreter, is the number 3 TV drama based on TV ratings and social media discussions for the same time period.
It was mention "slow burn romance" then why people are having problem with romance in this drama and if this drama…
I liked that it started with some sort of unrequited love on the part of the ML while being in denial at the same time. It really showed how his feelings developed. The FL being oblivious adds to bringing the Ml's pride down a peg or two, The feelings on the ML's part is apparent from the get-go. He just had to realize it and act on it.
Personally, I don't want the lead couples to head on to a relationship at once in a story. It necessitate conflicts such as disapproving parents, exes coming back, and other drama just to make the plot interesting after they become a couple. This is why I prefer cdramas over kdramas. They take their time bring the lead couples together.
I really have to wonder if we watched the same show ... or have the same experience of 12 year olds. I mean, people…
Let me clarify, it's the acting and portrayal of the character that I have a problem with. The dialog and writing does show that sh'e s this young ingenue who's put together, well rounded, successful in her chosen field (even if it's just a hobby), and speaks her mind. It's the acting of the actress that lacks maturity, so she comes off the screen as someone who's younger than the character she was supposed to be portraying It just comes across as infantile. I've seen nuanced maturity even in child actors, but not in this. I might have enjoyed thiis had the acting of the famle lead been better.
💯 !!! Grooming vibes the whole time, so uncomfortable to watch. What a shame they didn’t portray an actual…
I don't think the guy here is a groomer. After all, the girl is of age. It's my perception of the girl's character that is making me feel unsettled, because of the way the actress is portraying her. Her acting lacks maturity.

I understand from the writing and dialog that she's supposed to be this young ingenue who's independent. I don't find her introverted at all. In fact, she doesn't have difficulty engaging with new people and she speaks her mind. It's her acting that lacks nuance of maturity. Her approach is the one that's infantile. I've seen a lot of cdramas where the female leads tend to baby talk, yet they're still able to convey a level of maturity in their acting. I blame it on the director.
I couldn't finish Love Me, Love My Voice. Aside from the lack of plot, it felt like I was watching an adult male take advantage of a young kid who has a crush on him. The female behaved, dressed, and spoke like a 12-year old.
