Oh man, the ending is so ridiculous! Just like many of the comments here, I feel so cheated! It's so ridiculous how, after being thought as "dead" for 5 years, Jun just shows up all smiley to Rara. She grieved so badly for him, for goodness sake! And the kiss at the end is supposed to just make up for everything she went through?! It's nonsense!!! :( This is so unbelievable!
I love your thought, except that one of the voice overs is that of Manbok.
Yah, I know, I'm grasping at straws, sigh. Just that I don't recall seeing Manbok in the preview clip, plus he was in ill health, so I thought maybe he is the one who died. Since he is a well-loved character, it made sense that everyone is upset about his passing. Was wondering if his voice-over was for something else, not Jun's death, and the writer is tricking us again...
Just wondering: could the "death" (if there is a death in the first place) be that of Manbok? I can't imagine the writer would allow the ML to die without meeting the FL for the last time. At least for Uncontrollably Fond, the ML died in the FL's arms (I didn't watch, I read online).
Not gonna lie, I didn't expect them to use that trope. Though @ twinklestarz' comment below is kinda right about…
Yes, I agree with you about feeling her pain. Especially when her lips quivered as she struggled to speak when he told her that he wanted to break up...oh man, it was so heartbreaking. I think Go Ara really nailed that scene.
So I guess Jun and Rara's love story is going to mirror Man Bok's story (a breakup, and then get back together…
Yes, I feel that he should have at least given her a reason, instead of putting her through such a heartbreaking experience. After all, she was understanding enough to voluntarily keep away from him for 6 months till he finishes his exams. I'm sure she would have understood if he explained things to her. But then again, this is a drama, so I guess they have to have some "drama" for effect. Although I personally wouldn't have minded if the whole drama was light and happy all the way.
Yah, see Rara's face :(https://www.instagram.com/p/CHwmWG8pAOF/?igshid=1iakncsu7lgrl
I hope so too! Her hair is straight, which was why I thought it's in the present, since her hair was wavy in the past. Thought she is sad because Jun walked past her, ignoring her presence or something.
The beach scene The beach scene The beach scene Yes I had to repeat it . I mean how beautiful and romantic was…
And isn't it cute when Jun smiled to himself and stopped walking so that Rara would walk into him? :) And then asked her if he had become taller, lol. A throwback to the time when she measured his height. Except that this time, he managed to kiss her. :)
I'm not entirely convinced that Man Bok is DDSSLLS. He's currently unconscious and can't confirm it. When Rara told Jun that Man Bok is DDSSLLS, Jun didn't have the "wow, really? " reaction (e. g., like Ha Young's mother). Hmm...
Yes, that wasnt their first meeting either but Rara dont remember.
Yes, likely so. That's why I thought the "strange look" he gave her was not so much a "love-at-first-sight" kind of look, but a "I-have-seen-you-before" kind of look.
I also found it strange that when he saw her at her wedding, he obviously recognised her the moment he saw her, but yet he went so up close to her face (before she hit him on his nose). Wonder why he needed to go so up close to look at her face.
When Rara asked Jun why he gave her a strange look as she walked past him after he helped take the photo for Ji Hun and her, I get the sense that he didn't give her the real reason coz he was fumbling in his reply to her. I think there's still something that he's not telling her. What do you all think?
When discussing their age gap, Jun said he'll take care of Rara and he winked at her, then Rara replied something about how that must be what he had felt then and winked at him, what was she referring to? I think Jun was also puzzled and asked her about her comment but she quickly changed the topic. What do you think she was referring to?
