as a non novel reader, I don’t get why luke resigned. he should have protected flora bcs flora still worked…

To arm twist the board into getting her justice. They weren’t too keen to press charges on Dony saying not enough evidence.

Title The Early Spring

This drama started with the FL saying she was in a shameful relationship with the ML for so long and still she…

Exactly! he has introduced her to everyone in his friend circle. He said it’s up to her whether to keep it a secret. He has also said that he is her boyfriend. that dialogue makes no sense unless down the line she requests to go public and he denies!

Title The Early Spring Spoiler

Looks like we are not going see the kitty arc but what's more interesting is that how will they play out the breakup…

Looks like viewers will sympathize more with Luke than Flora post break up if they retain the novel break sequence. But remember she was already at the breaking point before the voting and Luke didn’t give her a heads up about the competition. I think they will have a major fall out after the SML storyline (remember how she says you must be happy now), so communication will already be in shambles given Luke will be hurt with that.

Title The Early Spring

In the novel she only ever met one before the end of the novel a long while after their reunion. I there’s been…

The break up is perfectly done in the novel. Power imbalance, jealousy, secrecy and unwillingness to explain/seek clarification will be the perfect recipe for disaster. And Luan Nian will get a very good taste of his own medicine wrt sharp tongue!
