the rest stayed the same because they were already old by the the beginning of drama (sang gil sas 30~, the aunties and the grandmas were obviously old). ae sun and gwan sik were supposed to be 18~. people dont change too much after passing age 25, but ae sun and and gwan sik were only teenagers and they struggled through life the most, they had to bring older actors to make it realistic

basically most of episode 16 is finding out gwan sik has cancer and showing his last days

it hasn’t happened in recent years (in dramas, in film it does happen) but i think that because wlgyt is a very unusual case because we dont have one strong lead. usually there is 1 or 2 leading characters where it’s mainly them and you can see it in the drama, so no idea how it will go this time 🤷🏽‍♀️ many actors who felt like a main character get the supporting nomination so that’s my guess on what will happen with moon so ri

in the scenes with the flashbacks of Gwan Sik and Geom Myeong where we see him always caring for her and saying nice things while she usually acts up and doesn’t give him love back, so until he dies it was a one sided love from his side. now that’s hes dead all that’s left is her love she regrets not giving him through the years so now it’s from her side

the drama in general handles some very heavy topics, the ending is indeed sad but they show it in a positive and hopeful way, u should definitely watch it :)
