I'm really glad that Ae Sun & Gwan Sik decided to respect Geum Myeong's decision and chose to hold it in even when they really wanna lash out at Yeong Beom's sh*tty mum. And the fact that they know that Geum Myeong will call off the engagement sooner or later because they have faith in her and the way they raised her is just 🥹🥹

So “restaurant sign” was supposed to be “the king among gigolos” - is good because I had a terrible WTF…
I guess they changed the phrase due to censorship 🤣 but I didn't realise it sounded so weird when translated to English till now 😭

Title The First Frost Spoiler
Do we know who secretly took pictures of her and called her name when she was out on a trip with her coworkers?
Most likely the uncle who SA-ed her in the past. This scene is different from the novel, but I guess it should be him
On The First Frost Feb 28, 2025
I love how in the drama WYF honestly told her bestie (Qiao Qiao) and work bestie (Su Tian) that she wanted to pursue SY once she made up her mind, because in the original novel she was more reserved about this.

In the novel, her bestie only knew when WYF & SY got together officially, while her work bestie only knew WYF wanted to pursue someone good-looking enough to be (translated exactly from the novel) "the king amongst gigolos".

Love that the writer made WYF more open and direct in the drama version because I find this "over-reserveness" in the novel a tiny bit frustrating.

Title A-Teen Season 2 Spoiler
To those KimHaMin shippers who kept on dissing Joo Ha, I mean let's face it, both Kim Ha Na and Ha Min are great but they just liked each other at the wrong time. People have been saying how the writers make Ha Min look bad to let the JooHaNa ship sail but have you guys really forgotten how Ha Min PLAYED WITH BOTH HA NAs during the first season?? He played with their feelings, and said mean things to Kim Ha and hurt her, which is why she decided to stop liking him. I saw people commenting how the writers made Ha Min's character bitter just to make Joo Ha look good but Ha Min has been quite a sad and bitter person sometimes SINCE SEASON 1 due to his family issues. He has always have quite an obvious dark side, but of course he's not a bad person. Tbh, if I were Kim Ha, would I choose a person who is easily offended (mainly about academic results) and jabs with sarcastic comments, say mean things when he's upset, or choose someone who's always there for me and does not have these anger management issues despite having his own family issues as well? (JUST TO BE CLEAR, I LIKE HA MIN TOO but he just doesn't seem like the right fit)

Things that make this a perfect rom-com:
- Effective communication between the main leads, friends and family,
- Main leads putting well-balanced effort in their relationship, respecting each other and giving each other space when they need it
- All side characters showed great character development and none of them are replaceable
- No annoying cliches (unnecessary love triangle, dramatic angsty person with unrequited love [IMO Eun Gi's character is considered realistic] , evil parents/family members)
- THE VISUALS, STYLING & OUTFITS (enough said LMAO)

I've grown out of cute fluffy dramas with unrealistic and dramatic plots, but this rom-com features characters who are CUTE AND MATURE which is an absolute win, this a ROM-COM THAT MAKES SENSE.
9.5/10 (despite the cliche story in EP 15 because this is a "more than enough" rom-com)

This movie highlights social issues that are often overlooked as the voice of the lower working class is oppressed , overall it really brings out the message, would have been perfect if the ending is more elaborated. Nonetheless a meaningful and inspiring movie

Title Cheese in the Trap Spoiler
I had high expectations for the drunk scene in ep 6, thought Seol is gonna grab Yoo Jung's hair and fight with In Ho like how she did in the manhwa but oh well, the drama is cute but plot-wise I prefer the manhwa
On Cheese in the Trap Jan 13, 2016
At first I didn't know who to ship but now after 4 episodes, I think I'll ship In Ho X Hong Seol more cause to me it seems that he brings the best out of her.
Seol is someone who can't really vent her frustration out easily even to her buddies Bora & Taek but In Ho somehow is able to let her express her true feelings (and frustrations LOL) naturally and most importantly have fun without constantly worrying unlike how she does when she is with Yoo Jung. When she's with her sunbae she's worries a lot and she's constantly wary around him. But still I'm pretty sure the main leads will end up together as usual so I'll just hope that Yoo Jung is actually someone nice or will become nicer later on and be sincere with Seol o__o

I cried with her on the group project grade. So many times that has happened to me, I really love the depiction…
Same here, I'm not the type of person to cry easily even when I'm very upset but my tears of anger just came out a bit when that scene happened because I can so totally relate T__T
Even the lecturer accused her for doing all the work because she thinks she does things better but that is like so not true !! Ahhh that part just upsets me a lot :(

Is it me or does Yoon Doo Joon look a little like So Ji Sub?
OMG I thought I am the only one who thinks so, I even doubted myself and thought maybe it's because I'm watching Oh My Venus which led me to thinking this way, but now I can see it's not just me hahahaha
On Splash Splash Love Dec 21, 2015
The chemistry of the main leads are just so good and both second leads are so likeable as well. This drama is full of fluff and cuteness, let's hope we get to see more of the 4 main characters in the future :D

Title Second 20's Spoiler
I kind of want to punch Min Soo in the face and yell,"Stuff your damn male ego and your embarrassment. Love…
Totally agree with you, I'm really disappointed at Min Soo's attitude towards his mum when he knew the truth. No Ra has basically sacrificed 20 precious years of her life just to raise him and never lived a proper life besides being a housewife, now that he's grown up, why can't his mum do whatever she wants? It's not like he cares a lot about his mum to begin with anyway.
