Absolutely! their two characters were the ones that had the most depth and realism. understanding the responsibilities each held was life or death for both. the two main leads had very surface level characters. I expected the the main leads from the trailers to have the in depth character like the 2nd leads but there was none of that intrigue. I expected a more push and pull from the 2 main leads but there was just this blind trust that came with no effort. Ziyu just blindly trusted her all of a sudden and didnt even investigate her when he found out she was a wufeng spy. I am told to believe in the beginning that the Wufeng sect is one of the most feared sect in the nation. there was growth in Ziyu and some development but not the way shangjue’s character was. That Yun girl’s character never developed, she served as a prop to move along the storyline. The love story was cute and ziyu’s unconditional love was great but again all very surface level, like he all of sudden fell madly in love with her for some reason I wasn’t aware of. Her schemes should of made Ziyu more suspicious. I don’t know, just some of my thoughts. it wasn’t a bad watch, but the ending did leave me a little blah 😒

they have made major changes. I’m not really liking the evil sect arc here. I feel like it’s going to leave lots of loose ends.

It’s changed a lot from the book to the drama. In the book they each take one turn in a lifetime keeping their immortal memory. But the rest of the lives they don’t.

I might be the only one but ep 11 was dragged out too long with unnecessary scenes.

I believe there is suppose to be a connection. I read an article that the God of war (Linghe Zhang) from LBFAD is going to make a special appearance.

I’m waiting for the majority of episodes to come out before I watch.

I was just coming on to say the same thing. Started watching it because there were interesting clips that kept popping up on my YouTube feed. But man I’m really struggling with how dumb they made the FL. How can a director and writer think this is cute?? Or how can it even make sense!? The male lead is such a savior each time! Her constantly crying about everything gets annoying after the 15th time, she’s always like oh poor me, I can’t do anything. If I don’t have a man in my life I don’t amount to nothing. This is terrible writing and all the unnecessary misunderstandings are so dumb! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was hoping that it would be a great enemies to lover drama but this is just sad and disappointing.
