It’s objectively bad (story, acting and production) but don’t take it too seriously and you’ll have a good time. Some scenes felt like straight up bloopers and the sexual jokes must have been written by a middle schooler, but it was stupidly fun. The scene where Mikeys mom discovers Art under the table made my cheeks hurt from laughter!

The clumsy “trip and fall into the closest attractive males arms” is one of my least favorite asian drama tropes, and thats literally all Meng Na does for the first few episodes. I can’t believe shes in a sport that requires balance and coordination.

I know she wasn’t supposed to wear makeup as the boy persona, but some chapstick wouldn’t have killed the girl. Her lips were always so dry and crusty

Pairing XinYa with MuNian was so unnecessary. She needed to be paired with a freaking therapist.

They made the ML so pitiful that I started to get the ick during his scenes. Whyyyy were all his situations so awkward? I know it’s realistic to struggle and not always be the best, but they could have given him a few more wins other than just getting the girl.

Luckily most of the side storylines were cute and when I fell out of love with Hsuan Yu, I fell in love with Mark. His personality and visuals were my absolute favorite and he was so good to everyone around him.
