I just watched the special version and it was perfect. It showed all of their interactions and we get to see how their love grew from beginning to end without all the politics involved. I really enjoyed this since I’ve been a fan of this cp since Yanxi Palace, so I definitely got my fix hehe. The sets and costumes were beautiful too.

really liked the FL’s acting & the duality of the ML, everyone else’s acting was ok
