I would agree with you may be because of kiss scene the rating is high other than that there could be one more reason audience like the FL character as FL is showed bit weak in the start but grown powerful with her intelligence. In some EPs she outsmarts ML as well and try to control/manipulate ML even though they portray ML as the strong willed one in the beginning. other than these 2 the story is routine and boring. Not very much romance.

I am not into only one actor but I like all other actors such as Li Hong Yi, Cheng Yi or Liu Yuning or Zhang Ruoyun etc...

For me POB is not that great. they say its romance drama but I hardly find any romance till EP29 and the story got flat after it moved to Yujin of Wei(I think after Ep13). there is nothing interesting nor attracting after first few episodes. one more weird thing is that FL says to ML that she loves him whole heartedly but at the same time says that the ML is equally important as her family. both are contradicting. only ML shows his love and FL with only words but not with her actions except the 35th episode.

on other hand LOZH has lot of suspense and unpredictable most of the drama.

I like Romance dramas too but I could not find any romance at all till Ep29 in POB. very disappointing. I could only see the hype for this drama may be because Liu Yuning or SZ

For me POB is good but not a great one. lets stop discussing about POB here as its not relevant to this drama at all

I dont think Shi Yiping is the 3rd enemy. if he is the one then the story would have ended already but it did not. Means the 3rd enemy still lurking in the dark and waiting for the chance to take action. he wants to grab all the pieces at once with one strike.

Prisoner of Beauty not even par with LOZH and I dont know why its got so much hype. Its good till Ep15 and after that interested is not that much for me may be because its became too routine. and also another reason may be its released earlier than LOZH.

Its bit surprising that not even one drama of Bai Lu aired in 2024. May be this drama supposed to be released earlier but releasing this year. Good to know that its releasing now just end of LOZH. ready to watch

In EP 31, there is a kiss scene shown in Trailer.

I think Its prince Yong Rong the 3rd person. Liu chu might lied about him and she might be the one who collected the 3rd fish on behalf of Prince. Zhao Bing Wen might be the masked benefactor who is working for Prince.

Because right now, apart from these only 2 people left who are shown in the drama. one is Emperor and other one is Minister of Personnel Shi Yiping.

I dont think we get to see a new person who is not at all present in the drama.
