The concept is fantastic, the visuals pretty... the cast insane. But the plot and the script are just off, tho…
Yeah, I'm enjoying it in many ways, but I feel there are things that could have been better. The premise and cast is so great, I can understand those who maybe wanted a bit more. I'm on episode 11 now and still enjoying it.

It has definitely gotten better. I think the pacing, the tones down sound effects have made the show much more enjoyable. It was a little hectic at first.

I didn't last 10 minutes. Baby hijinks and gross out jokes... I just couldn't deal with it. Not my style of comedy.

I can't get passed the awful hair!! Please try to convince me to watch this since I LOVE the two female leads…
Yeah. Sometimes the extremely obvious wigs in these historical dramas takes me out of it, but thankfully I was able to get used to them in this drama after a couple episodes.

I am with you I like the female lead as well. She does seem to be wooden but still i like her, I feel it's how…
Yeah, we have given much time to her character development, but what we have I really like.... how she was always reclusive and having someone like the monkey sage looking after her as new to her.. I like that aspect.

I like watching this for the ghosts and humor/bromance between Son Oh Gong and Woo Ma :D romance is ehh
I totally agree. They spent much more time on the fun/wacky monsters and fantasy elements than developing the main girl's character, so I'm not as invested emotionally into their romance yet.

Title A Korean Odyssey Spoiler
Personally I think it got so much better since the first 2 episodes :)
that's because the zombie girl became a part of the team after that!

Is it good? Its hard for me to finish the 2 eps. . i smell this wil be like bride of the water God..-_-
I'm loving it, but it has a similar feel more like "master's sun" than water god, where they are hunting ghosts. It's so wacky and fun with all the monsters and fantasy elements, even if sometimes I find the humor a bit over the top. Perhaps you aren't in the right mood for that type of show, and it may be worth coming back to later on?

what stands out for me the most is that the plot stays interesting all the way through .. or at least it has so…
I agree with this. Normally, dramas with a pretty simple overall setup either A: drag, or B: introduce many unnecessarily dumb events (amnesia, accident, so on) to fill up space. However, this is really surprising me with how engaging and not-boring this show is despite having a thin premise.

Am I the only one who feels like the show REAAALLLY feels similar to masters sun? particularly since they set up this whole crew of demon hunters to chase after a new ghost every week. I'm not saying that's a bad thing though.

Is it only who don't like Woo Ma Wong as a character as well as his acting? Can't help but skip his scenes even…
Yeah, I'm a little disappointed about much of a silly comedic character he was. After he appeared in the first episode like a total badass with the top hat and being so mysterious... I was hoping for a little bit more of a cool performance... not just a goofball.

I agree 100% about the bracelet. They're framing these ~moments~ as swoon-worthy when right now it's based on…
I actually kind of like the idea of the bracelet thing. Particularly after seeing too many dramas with extremely forced romances, I found it funny the idea of the heart being forced to love with reluctance in the k drama world. However, I agree with you about the main heroine: I wish her character was more developed. It seems we spend a bit too much time going after some new demon with action scenes and excitement every week as opposed to really getting to know her as a character. My biggest complaint is that the show just has so much junk going on all at once: Sound effects, special effects, loud LOUD soundtrack going all the time. It feels draining after each episode lol. Overall I am enjoying the show very much, it is fun and entertaining, but I don't think it is destined to be one of my fav's. I'm just not that invested in the characters.... Yet.

I want to give a big recommendation for this drama. I just started and it's terrific! It's sort of a suspense/melodrama about a wealthy, family business but told from the perspective of Jang Hyuk's character. What makes it stand out is mysterious but intriguing leading man, the acting is superb and his performance really sucks you in and makes you want to uncover all the puzzle pieces to his motivations. The writing is air tight and keeps you hooked! Big surprise, and highly recommended!

This drama is so good but I think only a few people realizes it..now i'm tempted to befriend all the people who…
Is it really that good? What's the overall vibe and feel. And what makes it worth watching? I'm intrigued by the high ratings.

I see some complaints on the cheapness of the cinematography, here and in other places. Sure, they probably blew…
The cinematography is fine, the problem is the editing/pace of cutting and the soundtrack. It's not very smooth and that's what makes it feel a bit cheap. It's forced, not a high quality soundtrack, and there is a cut away shot every 2 seconds.

I did not expect much before watching this, and I normally avoid shows that don't "look" appealing to me, but…
I am with you 100%. robot/computer sci fi movies never really interest me and this was way down on my radar... but I just happen to click on it... and it's now the show I'm most looking forward to this week! It's clever and just plain fun! It's just what I wanted in a year of endless crime and judge shows.

I hope this doesn't turn into an everything but the kitchen sink storyline drama! I really like the lead characters…
Yeah, I agree. I hope it doesn't spend too much time on the office politics, and I hope it doesn't get too dreary with the Robot trying to take over or being evil or something like that which ALWAYS ends up happening in Robot/AI movies.

With a plethora of crime and court dramas on ai, it's nice to see something so easy to lighten the atmosphere…
Yeah, I agree. It looked like we were getting nothing but crime/courtroom thrillers for a while. It's nice to get something fun
