So many sweet scenes in ep 15 and not so happy ones. I believe they are trying to show that the best decision for the both of them is to separate BUT it doesn’t mean they still don’t love and support one another. At their age I think it is hard for them to deal with the distance and job stress and life. To go after their dreams with no distractions. They were too young to try and balance it all. Always waiting/Always disappointing is hard on any relationship
But love getting to see 2009. Showing us they are both ok and their connection/love still there.
Though still feel bad for mr Kim. Everyone can see that something is still there.
The fact that they love eo and support each other so much its too hard to be together? I kinda see yet I kinda don’t. But its depressing because if they can’t make it work what about the rest of our normal first loves work?. But in order to move on they do have to part ways otherwise no way they could move on.
As rewatching old eps makes me cry now. Because they showed us such a beautiful connection. Because of that it makes it so hard for viewers not to want them to be end game. I understand the idea obviously but they really aren’t the typical first love. I mean irl there can be a happy ending too. I have read those true stories. Just saying tvn. It can still be realistic.
Guys what I take away is as sad as it us that BYJ and NHD aren’t in each other lives at the moment they did show that after many years their connection and support for each other never wavers. So what they have is special. It is real. So sad because of how strong their connection is. Fate is funny but somehow i feel like it will work out. Albeit not on screen but can’t believe its entirely impossible. As they say nothing lasts forever.
But yea i hope we see Byj happy finally in his own life.
I hate ppl trashing YJ. He is trying his best. If you aren’t in his position its unfair to judge him on it. Plus he is so young. Anyways this whole show I loved the relationships the most. For YJ and HD its how supportive they are of each other and I am happy that never changes no matter what. And they both know that. If they killed that I would be the most upset about that. To have someone like that is amazing.
Ok guys not sure if my eyes playinh tricks on me or not but when he congratulated her on her wedding it looked like he raised his eyebrows and gave small smile before she said thank you. Its prob already noticed lol.

Wa that revelation was not expecting that but they way they were looking at each other you know something is there. I feel for her do’s husband. I feel personally feel they probably ended because it got too hard. Her training and competitions and his work. They tried hard but it got too hard but they still loved each other. But doesn’t they can’t be end game in the future. Since fate brought them together. So i am ok if they aren’t together at the drama end as long as they are happy themselves.
But tbh they can’t expect us to ship the dad if not byj since we know nothing about him and hd. Since we only saw hd with BYJ live story.
I absolute adore this drama and the leads relationship. Personally I feel like they aren’t currently together but I would love for them to be together again at the end. I just don’t want yi Jin to be dead. So as long as he is alive there is chance to be together even if it just shows them meeting up again at the end I an ok lol
Overall I enjoyed the leads scenes together and their journey together. The rest of the storylines well definitely unnecessary. Obviously this writer couldn’t come up with a good concept to get to 40 eps. But I can ignore the sides and i gave up years ago on hoping for endings to make sense in cdramas. No use being frustrated. Not that all cdramas are badly written.
My thoughts on Elise. Tech she went to jail and is being deported. Its something. As usual the scheming aren’t always punished enough. The ml too nice to write pardon letter.
But the two leads did good with what they were given and had great chem!
For me I still enjoyed the drama. Yes there are unnecessary subplots and drama. But the ml and SL scenes just love seeing them getting closer. For me no words needed. The love is there and I think they both feel it.
As a long time drama watcher I don’t let the frustration on the nonsense that goes on in dramaland anymore. And i never compare shows to books anymore. You are burned more often than not.
So sad for oliver. Losing sight too? Hard for him to deal with everything. Good thing kesong won’t give up on him. He is slowly accepting her.
Lol the imagination part i know ppl will feel jipped but tbh its hard for me to believe oliver could accept her that fast due to his trust issues.
But it will come true.
For me he trusts elise only because he has to have someone. But he doesn’t really open up to her. And for him he can’t bring himself to think its elise or else I think he would crumble. Like then he has nobody. That is his psyche.
I hope elise at least tells him its experimental etc and not just dump it in his drink.
I still like this drama. Obviously it would be nice if there weren’t so many evil characters. But I totally see oliver pushing kesong away but she won’t give up and will get through to him. I do wish it was more like the book. Less drama.
As for no plot development I differ. There is just not the way we would like. But if they cut it there won’t be 40 eps lol. The problem with so many longer ep shows.
But it does have it sweet momemts of the two leads really communicating.
One thing I noticed. I don’t think the ml ever got help to deal with his deep routed issues cuz ppl just endure. Hard to stop if nobody tells you it is wrong. So when Ke song does it he finally sees some if his flaws. His behavior to her has improved. But old habits or reflexes come back. His defense mechanism is to lash out. But I do see a bit of light to help him on the road to recovery.
Personally I think there is development. Slowburn and makes sense for them. On my personal note I love subtle looks and smiles. For me that is still development. But I totally get that ppl want more. Honestly I just like look past the evil ppl cuz i know it will take til the end for them to get caught cuz its 40 eps. At least elise has remorse. Doesn’t make it right though. The doctor is enabling her. He should not be helping her this way.
The cousin is just spiteful. Such an inferiority complex.
